Sympathy for Mahima ?

After the CVs dedicated 2 full episodes for Mahima's chahatein, I thought of dedicating a post to her🤣

So basically we heard her lambi kahani of misery.. The intend was to create sympathy for Mahima but will I sympathize with her??..

Not really.. To me this Mahima character is an extremely selfish & self obsessed woman.. (For now I'm going by the theory that this is real Mahima.. otherwise so much FBs & her past story won't make any sense).. so most probably they are going to show that she was negative from the beginning..

From her story what we understood is

1. She knew Rajeev was a married man.. She was having EMA with him & "expected" he will come back to her because of pregnancy (ITV will never glorify EMA.. so probably they will show it as she wanted to be a Khurana bahu)

2. After giving birth to Saransh she very well knew the baby is being raised by Preesha.. still her jeene ki chaah arose only when she saw the news of Preesha happily married in Khurana house (I don't find any other reason for her sudden chaah than she want to take Preesha's place in Khurana house)

3. Mahima waited all these years to see Saransh but crashed into her sisters honeymoon & emotionally blackmailed her husband making him leave her & take her to Saransh.. (Height of selfishness - no good hearted sister will do that.. if she was good, she would have told Rudra that we will wait till Preesha wake up & then go together)

4. When a normal person come back from dead, they will first contact their family - father, mother or sister.. but Mahima clearly has her eyes on Rudra & Saransh.. she was obsessing over both of their photos.. in which Preesha is not there..

5. The urgency with which she is trying to snatch Saransh from Rudra & Preesha also highlights her selfishness.. she very well know how attached Saransh is to Rusha.. If she atleast cared for Saransh's feelings, she would have took it slow.. (An indication that she will use Saransh to accomplish her motives)

So basically I don't find her a positive character at all.. just because they showed some sweet flashback of her & few words in Rajeev's diary.. I think she even fooled Rajeev pretending to be good

It is essentially a selfless sister vs selfish sister fight.. and it's Rudra who will see through it & will have to intervene.. If Preesha is in her sister love blindfold, it's going to strain Rusha relationship

Yes, Preeti the backstory was not convincing.. I'm sure they will show her negative side FB too later..
