Swara’s comment came at the time when a fellow AAP leader went to speak to Dalit families and rake a strong anti UP Govt movement. 

Thankfully the families did not let him politicise the issue. 

There seems to be a strong misinformation campaign for this case on social Media. 

One set is showing mother video who is naming an accused and saying no Rape happened. 

Other set is talking about brutality of rape and similarities to Nirbhaya case.

The official police personnel are saying girl died in Delhi hospital and was cremated with family consent.

The other set is talking about the secret funeral to destroy evidences. This also has father’s video supporting it.

The case is now getting fast track court run and additional probe enquiries. Much better than Delhi Govt in Nirbhaya case or Mumbai police in SSR or Disha Sailan case.

We probably shouldn’t forget , the amount of misinformation being spread in the country with no credibility and with use of celebrity faces. 

Hopefully the truth is out soon.

How can u compare this case with Disha's? Even if u don't belv its suicide her parents wanted privacy. They don't belv in rape n murder theory. Why would swara or anyone speak on this matter

Its so shocking to me that even under the news of this dalit woman's rape by upper caste Hindus, you had numbnuts saying 'why bring caste into this' LIKE YOU F*CKING IDIOT, if you had taken the time to read what her family has been saying you would know that those rapists have had a whole history of harassing dalits in their area, that this is infact a caste based hate crime. But naah, they care more about defending casteism and very less about the crime. 

And the way the police just forcibly burned her body with parents crying and media right there, would that have happened if she were of upper caste. Very unlikely. Rape victims are all treated horribly in this country but this is a new level of horror, to not even be given the decency of a funeral. I guess and I am sad to use this wording.. some rape victims are infact more privileged than others. Atleast they get a decent funeral. 

This is in really bad taste. Priyanka Reddy was an upper caste hindu and what happened with her? She was brutally raped and set on fire. If the monsters who raped her were influential she could’ve gone through this as well. Please stop saying upper caste women are somehow more privileged, in the eyes of a misogynist and rapist all women are same who they want to hurt. Priyanka is not a lesser victim than a lower caste victim, she still was raped and killed despite being upper caste. Her pain wasn’t lesser because she was upper caste.
