Ch 1.
Riddhima,along with Maheshwar and Uma landed in Mumbai. As they stepped outside the airport,they felt a change in the atmosphere. Specially for Maheshwar and Uma,it has changed a lot since they left..
For Riddhima,it was same as before. Nothing changed in particular. Old memories refreshed in her mind. The memories she doesn't want to remember.. Which broke her from within.
She was brought out from her thoughts when Uma placed her hand on her shoulder. She wiped her tears and nodded in a positive way.
She called an Uber and left towards VR Mansion with Maheshwar and Uma. She looked at the roads which buzzed with cars and their honking. She could see the radiating and excited faces' of the people sitting in the backside. She smiled and prayed to Bhagwan for their happiness.
VR Mansion:
Days were same,just like before.. The only difference it had was the heartbeat of the house, Riddhima,was gone,forever. Sia and Daadi were chatting while Vansh was talking with Angre,regarding a business deal.
The mansion bore a blank look since Riddhima left. She was the light of this mansion. She made this mansion a home. Daadi used to cry every night remembering Riddhima,who was very similar to Uma,Vansh's mom..
But,the entry of Anupriya changed everything.. Even Vansh changed due to her... At last,when Anupriya's truth came out and Riddhima was proved to be innocent,Vansh became uncontrollable that day. He blamed himself for everything. Ever since then,he tried to find out about Riddhima and his parents',but he failed..
For the first time, the Vansh Raisinghania failed.
Soon, a guard came running and announced the arrival of some guests..
An(irritatedly): Kaunse guests? Kaise guests??? Hosh mein toh ho???
Guard: Ab dekhiye toh sahi,Sir. Main unhe andar leke araha hu.
Except Vansh, others were confused as hell.
Vansh could feel her presence. His heart started to beat loudly. He placed his hand to calm down his rapid heartbeat.
"How can she be here?? No no!! Maybe,i am hallucinating!!" Vansh muttered,maintaining that poker face.
Everyone present in the main hall could hear footsteps near the hall entrance. As they turned around to check the owners' of the footsteps,all became shocked and astounded.
Not a single person could speak a word.. Only tears were falling from everybody's eyes'. Vansh couldnt believe that his parents',whom he assumed to be dead,are alive... Safe and sound.
Daadi was super happy to see her beloved son and daughter-in-law alive and back in their lives. She ran towards them and hugged them tightly,as she could with her strength...
"Daadi.. Ab agar aap aise rote rahengi,toh inn dono ki grahpravesh kaun karega???" Riddhima said,breaking the tensed moment.
Daadi immediately wiped her eyes and ordered the servants to bring the Aarti plate.
Vansh's gaze was fixed on Riddhima. He couldn't blink his eyes for a long time.. He still cannot believe that she was back.. He was in a daze.
"Tumko dekh ke yoon lagta hai,
Koi bichda khwab aaya hai,
Barson lambi raat se guzre,
Subah ka jhonka laut aaya hai,
Bahut der jaagi,
Bahut door aayi,
Khwab ne chhodi na meri kalai,
Kab se meri saans ruki thi,
Mujhe saans aayi (x3),
Saans mein teri, Saans mili toh,
Mujhe saans aayi (x3)."
Riddhima could feel his stare on her.. Their eyes met for a while.. Vansh felt his heart beating again at her presence. Riddhima turned her face around as she remembered those bitter memories that she faced in this house. He could feel her inner cries..
The servant brought the Aarti plate and gave it to Daadi.. She did the Aarti of Maheshwar and Uma,and placed the pot of rice and plate of red Kumkum on the floor.
"Aaj mere bacche ghar aaye hai.. Aaj waise hi grahpravesh karo jaise pehli baar kiya thha.. Uma,aao beta!!" Daadi replied and Uma was welcomed the way she was welcomed the first time.
Uma and Maheshwar relived those fond memories. They entered the hall together,hand in hand. Vansh,Riddhima,Sia and Angre were really happy to see them so happy.
Daadi made them sit down. Maheshwar and Uma wiped her tears and promised her that they will not leave anymore.
Riddhima entered and all those memories flooded in her mind. She was finding it hard to stay there,as she felt being choked.. She stood holding the rails of the stairs,for support. Sia saw here and walked towards her. She kept her hand on her shoulder and muttered slowly to gain her attention.
"Bhabhi!!" Sia muttered.
Riddhima turned around slowly. She was the happiest soul when she finally saw Sia standing on her legs.. She couldn't believe her eyes. She took her in a warm,sisterly hug and sobbed silently.
"Main bata nahi sakti ki main kitni khush tumhe apne paero pe khara hua dekhke!!" Riddhima replied,as she carressed Sia's face.
"Yeh aap hi ka vishwas thha Bhabhi.. Aap jeet gayi!!" Sia replied with tears.
Riddhima nodded and suddenly,she felt Vansh's presence behind her back. She inhaled sharply at his cologne's fragrance.
Both of them had were at a loss of words. They couldn't speak for a long time. Riddhima felt awkward,for the first time.
Both of them wanted to enquire about each other's wellbeing,but couldn't voice out their words.
Their trance broke when Angre was clicking some photographs of the family.
"Mere ghar ke Shiv Parvati aagaye!!" Daadi squealed in excitement.. Sia went near and hugged her parents', as she had tears in her eyes. Uma and Maheshwar were happy to be back with their family.
Vansh kept looking at Riddhima,who was seeing the Senior Raisinghanias' reunite. She waited for this moment. At least,she fulfilled one duty.
"Riddhu beta,tu wahan kyun khari hai??? Idhar aa tu!!!" Maheshwar asked.
"Nahi Uncle.. Main yahin thik hu.. Yeh toh aapki family photo hai... Main kaise??" Riddhima replied,fumbling.
She was reminded of Vansh's harsh words. That how will she understand the importance of a family when she doesnt have one,as she is an orphan.
Riddhima had tears in her eyes.. She felt Vansh's curious stare on her,as he felt what exactly she was going through. He felt guilty as he wrongly accused her.
Uma went near Riddhima and said, "Please beta,meri baat maanle!! Tu meri bahu hai aur beti bhi.. Ek bete ki maa banke jo pyaar aur izzat ki haqdaar mujhe hona chahiye thha,woh tune humdono ko di hai,ek beti banke.. Ussike khaatir,chal aaja!!"
"Nahi Maa.. Vansh.. i mean, Mr. Vansh Raisinghania aapke aur Mahesh uncle ke bete hai.. Woh chahe jaise bhi ho,main kabhi unki jagah aap dono ke life mein nahi le sakti.. Aap sab yeh photo lijiye.. baad mein,main,aap aur uncle milke ek photo lenge,thik hai.. Abhi jaiye.." Riddhima replied and sent Uma to take photographs with the family members.
Riddhima sneakily clicked a photo of the whole family and saved it in her phone,as a memory.

Wht a beautiful and emotional chapter.....beautifully penned down...could feel RiAnsh uneasiness, awkwardness, untold pain and immense love they have for each other but they both prefer to stay mum 😭😭....love it when Vansh sensed his swertheart Ridhu presence❤️....feel bad that she refused to be part the family pic but can underst her feelings ...she is badly hurt
