Welcome to this thread that I have created for the sole purpose of getting over this jodi that gave me butterflies by just looking at each other. Consider this a farewell, if you will.

I am going through old episodes (because naye episodes are very meh) and I realised something that I already knew, which is, KuKu scenes packed a punch in the 2mins that they used to get, mainly because of those tiny tiny expression changes that the camera caught and the editor decided to keep (so, a big thanks!!). I'm making these GIFs to analyse those and discover the depth I might have missed in their story.

Kuhu's Introduction Scene

This has to be one of my favourite character introductions on ITV ever! So much swag and confidence!! (I need!!) Her people skills are so clearly visible here with convincing a band to play (and maybe leading them), holding a crowd's attention with so much ease and it shows us that maybe she learnt music(?). I am going to consider that canon seeing as she was going to sing in that club when Mishti took over and sang Saathiya with Abir.

Kunal's Introduction scene

When I tell you, I swooned! So much suave! It's literally oozing! What an entry! Hayeeee!! I can totally see why Kuhu froze when she saw him driving past. And the scene that followed his entry totally established that he was all business and family with zero time to chill.

I love Kuhu's entry. She is like fireworks all over.... Kunal and Kuhu had my heart here.

The Sportscar Scene

"Uss ne mujhe dekha!!"

"Kya hero hai yaar!"

"Oh god! Please, ek baar gaadi rok do!!"

This scene!! She sees him, freezes, and then, becomes so excited that he saw her. She is basically every person when their crush looks at them. The level of confidence and self-assurance, that she has in her appearance and personality, is something I admire in her and crave for. To be able to look at someone and just go, "Ek baar gaddi rok do", as if that is the only thing she needs in her favour and the rest, she can handle. Aur dekho toh! Bhagwaan ne sun bhi li but this girl has the attention span of a goldfish (or rather, humans, because according to scientists,  the age of smartphones has left humans with such a short attention span even a goldfish can hold a thought for longer), toh iss me bhagwaan ki kya galti😆.

Kunal ka rishta aaya hai!

She is such a cutie! So unable to believe that the handsome hero she saw driving past her, is the guy whose rishta has come for her, that she pinches herself. If that happened to me, I would pinch myself too. Kuhu, itni relatable kyun ho tum?

Sidenote: I miss the wardrobe Kuhu had during this phase, even these long t-shirt night dresses. Also, this room is so beautiful!!😍

Rishta for Kunal

Nanu:"Wo aa rahe hain?!" 
"Nakki ne?"
"Kunal ke liye ya dono beton ke liye?"

Nidhi: "Arre maadi re. Benbaa, maaf karjo, par dekhiye na.

Yahaan Abir aur Kunal ke rishton ki baat ho rahi hai..."

Nidhi: "...par Atul ki toh kisi ko padi hi nahi hai..."

Abir: "Maamiji! Aap kyun fikar kar rahi hain. Atul ka toh hum swayamvar rachenge.

Aap jalebi khaaiye..."

Kunal: "Nanu! Koi mujhe bhi batayega ki chal kya raha hai?!

Bataiye Nanu!"

Nanu: "Uh...ahemmm...Parekh bhai ka phone tha. Unke pehchaan ke log hain.

Vishambar Maheshwari naam hai unka..."

Nanu: "...Kal woh log seh-pariwaar humaare ghar aa rahe hain.

Do pothiyaan hain. Pasand aa gayi toh.."

Sorry for making this gif set so distracting but it was for context. I would like to bring back focus to Kunal and his expressions. Kunal hears the family talking about him and tries to understand what the conversation is about but as he is not someone who likes overhearing stuff, so directly asks the source. And his expressions in the last gif: he is processing the whole thing, but when the second time the camera pans to him, there is this slight expression of sadness (I don't know if I can even call it because it's so slight that it's really invisible but after seeing this gif countless times now, I get the feeling that it is, or at least, that is the feeling I get).
