The movie is written solely by him and apparently he ghost directed it too since Nikhil advani never gave a hit after that. I think its far better than KKHH, KANK , K3G and can be watched even today without feeling outdated

It's a really nice movie but super depressing too so I avoid watching it
I consider KHNH his absolute best and overall the most depressing Bollywood movie ever to be made. The soundtrack is enough to trigger the trauma of Aman dying and now I feel like crying all over again 😊
By the end of the movie, the scene turns into a blur as I try to wipe away the Niagara falls flooding from my eyes. The faucet was on full blast when Naina was shown telling her story and I realised that the most selfless and beautiful hearted character had been dead for 20 years.
Excuse me for a moment ..
Title Track of Kal Ho Na Ho is realistic and meaningful. ⭐️
But, the movie was majorly depressing with some humor at frequent intervals.
Actually I like the songs of the movie❤️
But the film was really a very depressing film. Actually I didn't like depressing film where the hero or heroine dies in the film. So this film was a one time watch film for me because I don't like such sad movies. Movies are meant to entertain us rather than making us sad and depressed👍🏼
I actually wanted Aman (SRK) to live rather than dying in the movie👍🏼
It didn’t aged well though. I really liked the movie as a kid but last time I tried to watch it I couldn’t pass through it for more than 10 minutes. Its too slow paced..
I dont why people are calling it depressing... the title itself is giving a message which aman states. He instigate changes in naina's and her family's life. He teaches her to stop being so ungrateful and enjoy life, probably because he had cancer so he knew better.

Because he wanted to live 😭.
Make way for my niagara falls TEARS
Aman came like an angel into Naina’s life and made everything in her world good again. He helped the family restaurant, eased her mother’s financial stress and reunited the broken family. Aman loved Naina so much, that he broke his own heart and selflessly encouraged her to marry someone else. Why? So he can die in peace knowing that Naina would not be left alone. He can be at peace knowing that there was someone who would hold her hand and support her because he won’t be there to do it. He did it so she would never feel lonely again.
There was a deleted scene where Aman is confiding to Jenny that he is scared of dying. He then breaks down and pleads for them to not forget him *fanning face to dry my tears right now.* Twenty years later ... Naina is now recalling her first love, who has been dead this whole time. The concept that someone you loved so much no longer exists in flesh but in memory is by far the depressing feeling. Knowing that Aman feared being forgotten but seeing that everyone still remembers him was devastatingly touching.
Oh man WHY must I remind myself?
WHY do I do this to myself?
Says a lot about the garbage dump karan's movies are when the cringy hammed shite like KHNH is the 'best'.
Movies like A Walk to Remember or Kal Ho Na Ho should never be called depressing. Not every film is made for the leads to get a happily ever after, it can be artistically beautiful even if either of them dies in the end. More importantly Kal Ho Na Ho gave us a lovely message, this is to live every moment of life like there is no tomorrow- that's the motto which Aman followed and taught everyone around him to follow. And that's why KHNH is so special. Indeed the best craft by Kjo.
