Facts about Naagin 5 lead actors and how Ekta Kapoor do casting!

Hina Khan is the female lead, Mohit Malhotra is the male lead, Dheeraj Dhoopar is the antagonist. Cameo roles never appeared on the official posters before, they all make it on the official poster of season 5, that confirmed they are the leads.

Film producers always have several names in their list beforehand when it comes to casting actor for the lead role. They contact the actor at the top of their list first to offer the role, if that actor refuses the role, then they will contact the next name (backup) on the list and it goes on until they got the actor for that role. They don't offer the role for multiple actors on the list at the same time. Ekta Kapoor wants Hina Khan as lead for Naagin 4, Nia Sharma was one of the backup choices, since Hina couldn't accept the role at that time because of her schedule, Ekta went with Nia as lead. Surbhi Chandna is one of the backup choices for Naagin 5 also just incase Hina Khan not accept the role, but since she did accept the role there is no need for Surbhi Chandna anymore.

Ekta Kapoor and her team don't want to announce who play lead and who is not for a purpose, that way she can change the script at any time, kill off character or make any character become lead later as the story progressing. If later Hina Khan wants to leave the show, then Ekta just kills off her character and make the other naagin become lead, it will not affect the show because they didn't announce her as lead earlier, the same could apply to the male lead as well. 

Varun Sood and Sidhant Gupta don't have anything to do with the show, it's their crazy fans keeps spamming naagin hashtags and commenting on twitter and instagram, trying to get attention for their idol and the newspapers just published articles without checking the source is legit or not and make it look like it's real, Ekta cannot paired Hina Khan with them, the level is different, just look at the previous male leads of the show (you know what I meant).

I don't think any actor would like to be a "back up" choice for any show.They would definitely want a permanent place as lead role.

It is possible that when Ekta planned N4 she 'might' have approached Hina (😵) but she was busy so Ekta approached Nia.It's not possible Ekta will keep Nia as "back up" to see if Hina will be available to do N4.Why would Nia wait? I will go with my first assumption.

Ekta messed up N4 so she needed to end it soon and coming with N5.So if her first choicd is Hina she approached her again and Hina accepted.Why would Surbhi Chanda wait to be a "back up"?

In all these seasons,aisa kabhi hua hi nai ki lead ko maarke dusre ko lead banade.Jo lead hogi wo permanent hi hogi aisa nai show start hone ke bad hina yunhi chali jaye toh surbhi chanda ko lead banale.Aisa nai hota hai maine toh aaj tak naagin seasons me aisa hote huye nai dekha.Contract wagera sign hote hai lead ke upar hi show chalta hai.

Ekta never announces her lead so soon in case of Naagin.It's always had been kept as a mystry and she confuse viewers with her tactics.So it might be possible Hina is just a cameo role or may be she will be the lead (😆)

Facts need proofs. Unless Ekta doesn't herself says this, then these aren't facts but a fan's assumptions.

Mohit never said Hina is lead. He gave a very confusing statement. They asked him if Hina is playing naagin, he said yes. Which Hina is! He never said she is permanent or cameo. He is himself supposedly playing a cameo. He just said he is happy to work with Hina. again a very confusing statement . He no where mentioned lead for himself or Hina or Dheeraj. 

Dheeraj can never play lead because he is already playing lead in Kundali Bhagya which is top show of ZeeTV. He won't have even time to play permenant lead in the show.

 Hina herself on her twitter reposted an article when the sub heading says that "But her fans are little upset because it is a cameo."

Ekta never reveals her main naagin so easily. Same drama happened with Karishma and Rajat too. They are pretty well known faces of TV. Rajat seems to a very fine actor. They started with focus on them and then they shifted to Behir. And that worked for teh show. The story was pretty good in beginning (Though in end EKta sidelined her own leads Behir)

All this drama Ekta is doing of portraying Hina as Sarvshrestha Nagin and Cameo lead is to keep the hype up. So that there are daily articles about Naagin. And it give promotion to the show!

Hina herself said she wanna focus on web and movies. She told in latest iv that she will be doing a webshow with Ekta. Hmmm

Nia was never a second choice and kept in hanging. Nia has done some great content on web, twisted1 and 2. And she killed it! Why would she wait ? She herself is established actress and would rather work in something else than waiting for a show for unpredicted time. Nia was just not given right story. She would have done great if she was actually treated as lead in her show, not as bechari abla bahu, but as a fierce naagin. Brindev chemistry could have worked upon more by the makers.

And Hina doesn't even suit for cameo, forget main lead naagin. Ekta is desperately trying to prove her as sarvashreshta naagin and hottest naagin, but the fact is the costume looks terrible and so does the overall look. She doesn't even gives the vibes of a Naagin. 

I think surbhi and Asha would be the permanent Naagins . I know Asha denied to be a part of serial as she is busy in shooting web series but let’s see!!. It’s quiet common in Naagin franchise that some powerful Actor do cameos and handover to permanent Naagins . But let’s see what’s in the store .

Close sources confirmed Surbhi Chandna is the lead for season 5 just like Hina she'll be confirmed in promo as well I think.

No official statement is made yet but many articles are saying Hina will set the story rolling in this season like Karishma Tanna in third season of Naagin, And the story will then be taken forward by Surbhi Chandna.
