EX teacher at LGS&actor OMAIR RANA accused of harassing minor students

In the wake of the LGS 1A1 scandal which promoted the termination of 4 teachers who were accused of sexual harassment, former students of the actor Omair Rana, who was also a drama teacher at the same school, have come forward with sexual allegations against him.

PERSONAL opinion. This is really disappointing

Oh! This is what they were alluding to on SomethingHaute's weekend in review. I was so confused and couldn't find what Omair Rana scandal they were talking about.

Why r some people saying he is innocent?

Why do people also have to not believe a victim's narrative? People are ready to give the benefit of doubt to the harasser but never the harassed

I mean that happens a lot of the time too. People are funny creatures, they don't want to believe the worst of someone they know (or think they know). They want "proof" and sometimes even if you show people proof they don't believe it.

I think on some level it's that people would rather think that someone who does things like this is a literal monster or somehow mentally unsound- how can someone 'normal' who loves their own kids behave this way to someone else's kids.

Oh did they refer to it?. I never saw the show but I dont know why people are linking it to pks. Pks is fiction but this real

They said that they may address it in a future Haute Bite episode, but I think they were talking about PKS. And when Amna interviewed Omair Rana earlier on, he was quite emphatic that his character isn't a villain- something that Hassan struggled with right from the start and he's been questioning Amna about it every couple of weeks, lol. "How is (character's name) not a villain??"

(I'm not watching PKS either, I have to resolve my Zanjabeel-related traumas, lol, but his character is harassing his daughter-in-law, isn't he?)

And in the most recent episode it came up and they kind of side-eyed each other and were like well that's a different topic now and hinted they may talk about it later and Hassan said to Google about Omair Rana- which I wasn't successful at.

Sarwar is definitely a villian in PKS and yes he does lust over his daughter in law. I still dont understand why Omair denied it's a negative role, it's clear cut negative and shallow.

You dont have to Google it, just use the #OmairRna hashtag on Twitter, you will get the info..lol
