We will never learn unless we begin accept we have gone wrong. We are too much influenced by what people write on sm , and use very little of our brain. Industry didn't support him but audience neither.

But the ways and means to get to know him were hijacked though?

It's unfair to blame the audience for not watching Sushant's movies. In recent years, the audience has rejected Shah, Salman, Alia, Deepika, Varun and many others because their movies were trash. They went out to support an outsider Ayushmann because he made good cinema. They made Kartik a superstar. Infact the audience did support Chichhore cause it was good cinema. How's the audience to be blamed here? Anytime Sushant was in a movie that was entertaining the audience did not let him down. One simply cannot like a Drive though.

The fact that he lost out on so many movies despite audience's approval is not on them. The industry boycotted his chances. Now if he had spoken up about it, maybe people would have gotten to know. He didn't. I don't blame him at all but that's a fact.

The audience takes what it's fed. Blinds, media articles, box office reports. A casual movie goer doesn't care or know about how bigwigs control the narrative and keep the focus on star kids. We get news about other outsiders too who are kept in the limelight. The audience clearly cannot break the chain on its own. The out of sight, out of mind works for everybody, not just Sushant.

I just watched a really old video of Krystle Dzousa where she speaks of how Sushant was her favorite actor, how even though he was a side character on KDMHMD he put his 110% into every scene and how they basically grew up together.

We are all so affected, cant even imagine the state of those close to him.

A bright cheerful, intelligent man, who died not knowing how loved he was. So disheartening to even think about.
