Ocean in varaha legend?

I want to ask that in varaha legend,what is space ocean where hiryankshipu took prithvi?

It is not hirankashyap who stole earth   it is hirankashyap  elder brother  hiranyaksh who stole earth and take it to bottom of ocean

I meant that only.It was by mistake.

I think it can work if we imagine the ocean to be the milky way, where Hiranyaksh took Prithvi out of the solar system.

They were alluding to the "universe is an ocean", they might have been talking about the blue colour of the sky which is equated to an ocean?

There is rasaatal lok just above paatal lok inside ocean  there hiranayaksh took earth 

When varah bhagwan taking earth from rasaatal   then hiranayaksh   said yeh jangli pashu   paani ke ander kahan se aa gaya?
