from the collection of women orientated movie it obvious why they are paid less. a female lead movie doesn't sell to that of male dominated movie, so how can people talk about equality of pay??? Its the same where female model make more money than male model because its sell more.

They won’t support other actress’s movies . The way Chapaak failure was celebrated proves women will always be behind men because they pull each other

It is bitter pill to swallow, women you don’t buy women oriented movies tickets. You went to watch Kabir Singh so that you can play keyboard warrior ( after enjoying movie )

Next time some women writes essays on pay equality or competing with male stars, remind them to spend on movie ticket first

Thappad like films which have no entertainment value will always find it tough to find an audience unless it's supremely excellent ....these entitled filmmakers like Anubhav Sinha are far detached from the audience 's taste...

Shubh mangal zyada savdhan was the right approach ...niche subject + entertainment.

Seems like boi took my post here, on them, about thappad way too seriously where I wrote

"BOI KAY MUU par zordaar thappad for discouraging such MOST IMPORTANT issue based movie"

Exactly same stance & choice of same words..

Seems just like Rangoli, boi also stalk IF

100% agree

Kangana's twmr did 150 cr plus being a fun film

Sridevi's comeback EV was a hit due to been well made

Vidya's kahani & tdp were hits as they were entertaining

I mean who will watch auraton Kay maslay based films in cinemas made in substandard way ?

Male actors would have met same fate with substandardly made serious issue based films, examples r tube light, fan and even substandard fun films like zero & jhms

If these issue based films r well made, they will work, regardless of been woman centric or male centric.

At the end of the day audience goes to watch a well made gripping movie, regardless of which gender is mainly pulling it.

wow what a choice of words they used to comment about box office result of a movie dealing with domestic violence..

and no they're not misogynistic, its the "woke" "feminist" "liberal" women that are at fault..

also surprising posters who otherwise act all holier than thou not commenting on the insensitive nature of the headline instead are using this to undermine women actors to put their male actors on a pedestal..
