Waiting for this movie. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

For once, I want to see a dignified depiction of a homosexual man's life and I hope it is not reduced to a caricature for some laughs.

LGBT people undergo a lot of trauma and suffering because of lack of acceptance of their sexuality - I really hope this is shown well.

I know there were a few movies here and there that did this well, but they were not mainstream. Kapoor and Sons did have a gay male lead but his sexuality wasn't the focal point of the film. When you mention a gay character in mainstream cinema, the first images that conjure up in one's mind are of Dostana, and that was horrible.

Hope this film changes that (although I think I am asking for too much here).

Yes, it looked like Ayushman is not actually gay but has come here to save his gay friend from getting married to a girl. Shayad wahi hai story.

What a cracker of a trailer! Ayushman proves he's the king of delivering social messages through entertainment.
