Katrina Kaif worthy of comparison?

Hi all, 

I see a lot of posts regarding Shehnaz calling herself Punjab ki Katrina and how dare she compare herself to the great Katrina, then Salman saying things like would Katrina do such things etc?

Is Katrina really a great benchmark of decency? She is a white woman pretending to be half kashmiri, her dad is somehow invisible on earth. Her whole life she went with the last name Turqotte of her father and the people who brought her into the industry claim that Kaif was a name they just chose as a stage name. And the biggest thing is her sisters were doing adult videos in the UK before Katrina became famous. (No im not talking about the videos that used to circulate of her sister Isabel). Im talking about her other sisters, one of whom is credited as Stephanie Turcotte in p*rn videos produced by some man named Terry something which there are also pictures of Katrina with this man. Also the fact that she was an escort in UK before coming to India. Also the fact that her mom was part of a s*x-cult that travelled the world. 

The point of this is to show that Sana is judged because she compares herself to Katrina but Katrina isnt some saint.

I dont know if Katrina kaif and her family were prostitutes...never heard that before but I never understood the idea of comparing Shehnaaz to Kaif as if it was some great compliment. Katrina seems like a nice person off screen but as an actress she is zero-a total bimbo. Cant pull off more than 1 and a half expressions. For someone so famous in the Hindi film industry her Hindi sucks (there are 100% white women who speak better hindi than her) which is a sign of lack of dedication because if ure really into your craft ud get enough lessons  and put in enough hours into rehearsals to correct your diction. Shehnaaz is way more interesting than Kaif  talent-wise and looks wise. 

Katrina is half Kashmiri .its her mother who is white. The dad is out of the picture because her parents have been divorced for a long time. 

Woah! That's a lot of background info. Didn't know all that. 

I thought the comparison was based on looks over other attributes. I have seen a lot of posts by shehnaaz supporters who have put the pictures of the two together. With heavy makeup some similarities in features can indeed be seen. 

Also, Katrina is beautiful but not known for anything apart from the glamour quotient she provides in her movies. Shehnaaz though, has a very expressive face unlike katrina, whose acting is pretty bland. Apart from this the only thing worth appreciating about the actress is her poise, which shehnaaz with her bacchi antics can never match.

I agree though, katrina is no saint...but again shehnaaz isn't either🤷‍♀️.

The matter of the the fact is that Katrina is one of the most successful and loved actresses in India of the recent times despite of having little talent of any kind and questionable background- she's adored by millions. 

She's so much of a phenomena that people often use her as the ultimate pinnacle of beauty. I often hear people use phrases like-  "woh konsi Katrina kaif hai" etc. That is the unfortunate and bitter truth regarding her.

For that reason, any actress trying to make it big in bollywood would LOVE to have the success and popularity Katrina has achieved. 

I don't really know Katrina Kaif personally but she exudes the class that Salman could confidently claim that "Katrina would never do this". She ain't no Rakhi Sawant in terms of the way she carries herself and the things she says. 

I'd be very happy for Shehnaaz if she's able to achieve  similar level of success as Katrina in the future as that's what she aims for. 

P.S. I find Rakhi Sawant entertaining who's got a niche viewership and fandom and I respect that and wish her all the power!

When a person(sana) inspired by someone(kat) it is because of their positive sides and I think Katrina have achieved and set a benchmark, so Sana likes to call herself Punjab ki Katrina....

Katrina ke naam se Sana ko Sallu ka attention mil gaya...but never the less Sana is quite pretty and talented too. She will do great...just needs to tone down a bit.

I am not sure if all this information about KK is correct but in this industry it hardly matters. These days most actresses are topless in most movies. A decade later mostly only bgrade actresses used to do such scenes. 

There was a sting operation done by Tahelka (I think) where a journalist posing as a businessman asks this pimp to get him an actress. The pimp first gets an Aishwariya lookalike and then he gets the real deal. Rakhi Sawant!!

There was also a news article where Miss Bangalore (or some other city) was available for Rs 10K per night.

Check out old movies by Raj Kapoor. He was called a showman but in every movie of his, he would exploit the heroines to bare it all. Be it Mandakini or Zeenat Aman.

I remember when Tanisha was in the BB house and Salman would support her so much and one day reprimanded Kushal that kuch bolne se pehle dekho to sahi ki ladki kis family ki hain and blah blah blah. Someone on IF posted pics of her mom smoking and drinking in a party showing a lot of cleavage. And she was about 70 years old then.

Information about Sridevi is wrong......she started her career as a child artist in tollywood and became successful actress in almost all south languages before entering bollywood.She acted as heroine with 2 generations heros as a successful actress.....
