Pati Patni Aur Woh Is A HIT

Pati Patni Aur Woh has emerged a HIT as it collected 2.75-3 crore nett on its second Friday. The drop from Thursday is just 20-25% which is a solid trend. The film would have not been a hit film if the collections had gone towards the 2 crore nett mark as the film does not have support of a third or fourth week due to big releases
The film will still not reach the numbers of Luka Chuppi but it has a shot of 75 crore and an outside chance of 80 crore but that is only if there is huge growth on Saturday and Sunday. A 75 crore nett finish is a good result for the film though obviously the numbers of films like Chhichhore and Dream Girl have given higher expectations from these types. The collections of Pati Patni Aur Woh till date are as follows..

Saturday - 11,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 13,50,00,000 apprx
Monday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 4,75,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 3,75,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 51,25,00,000 apprx
Panipat collected around 60 lakhs nett on day eight which is a fall of around 85% from the first day and its eight day total is 26 crore nett apprx. The film may just cross the 30 crore nett mark but the numbers of another huge flop Pagalpanti are unlikely to be caught.
Happy for karthik. An outsider making big is a good thing. Keeps the balance. Ayushman n him will stay for long. His next target is to enter 100 crore club n he can do it with right movie. Its good. Starting from low and reaching high slowly is much better than rising fast and falling down like a rock.
Plus he can pair up with most actresses which works for him big time
Edited by Ronaldo_fan - 4 years agoIt is a good timepass film.Ananya surprised me.She has a sweet smile.She seemed like a nice girl,who could fall for a small town guy,even though she was wayyyyy out of his league.She has the face,body and height .I was impressed.
Superstar kids havent been particularly good looking..Kids of lesser heroes like HR,Shraddha,Ananya have the looks..Tiger's moves and physique is also very impressive.
About Karthik..I find Ayushmann,RKR,Vicky attractive on screen,not Karthik-his smile is weird.

Kartik got very long teeth that are totally outwards (just like his dad) and his full smile although looks funny in such roles but is absurd otherwise and distracting too.
As an actor as well he is okayish.

In real world kartik is regarded as national crush for his good looks and charm. and you talk about acting, who is fan of salman who is pathetic actor. even staying in Bollywood for more than 30 years he cant act at all. In tubelight , bharat, people were laughing at his crying and emotional scene in cinema hall. I get distracted with his fake hair, short height, bulky steroid body, his eyebag and botox face. he needs to head to south do like Rajni roles. salman really needs ground reality check about his acting and messed up life but he is surrouned by asslickers
You should watch Tere Naam. It is one of those few films where Sallu acted with perfection. Sad that he won no awards for the film.
