Honest Opinion: The latest episode has TAINTED the OLD KHKT Memories

I am pissed... I am super pissed 😡

And after watching today's episode I would be much more happier if the wedding DIDN'T take place. Yes, this is coming from a hardcore RONAKSHI Fan simply because I am sick and tired of the unwarranted drama that's being shoved into the show WHICH DOES NOT EVEN MATCH THE TONE OF THE SHOW THAT WE'VE COME TO LOVE😔

Indian Show mein wedding track ke time if there is no chaos... if there is no drama then it is believed to been a WASTED Opportunity to gain numbers. Unfortunately even a show like KHKT (Probably because it's on SP which is obsessed with TRPs) could not escape from this age old TRADITION.

Chalo FINE they didn't want to break TRADITION, they wanted to tread the same old path that several other shows have treaded before... FINE. They wanted to sing a different tune during the whole Wedding Fiasco which has no resemblance to the KHKT we all have come to love and cherish... FINE. BUT kuch toh dang ka karo 🤬

I strongly believe the reason we all fell in love with KHKT isn't RONAKSHI because RoNakshi happened with time.... I BELIEVE it was because if the unique concept - Dr. Surgeon and TV Actress Love story... the fresh writing... & Very close to reality treatment of the show in general. When other serials were stuffed with OTT Illogical Drama ; it was quite refreshing to watch KHKT- a light hearted drama that had it's share of dramatic moments but in its heart was a sweet simple story.

SO, Imagine my disappointment when I saw today's episode in which Sonakshi readily decides to go shoot her scenes for Kahani Parvati Ki (Which Mahesh Had Destroyed) with ONLY 1 hour left for the Wedding Ceremony to begin. I mean SERIOUSLY??? 🙄🙄🙄

I get work ethics, I get dedication and commitment but this was taking it too far. I was suddenly reminded of Sonakshi's own words which she had previously said to Netra Ji - "Main Mahaan Nahi Hoon".... Really? Seriously? What would you call this act of yours where you decide to go shooting for your serial with just one hour to spare because you didn't want others to suffer?

Real Life mein bhi Channels, PH's or Actors don't do this shit.

Yes, Sonakshi did shoot for her scenes prior just like how it's usually done in the industry if the actor is going on a Vacation or has a function etc. But supposedly if the actor leaves for a vacation without informing the PH-Channel or if the footage gets destroyed like in the show then the PH and Channel manages with the rest of the cast and the actors past clippings.

The Channel doesn't give ultimatums such as we'll pull the plug on your show or that let the actor decide whether his/her wedding is important or the livelihood of 100s of people... Yes, Channels can be EXTREMELY BRUTAL but they don't do things like this especially if you're the golden goose of the channel which KPK is.

And Sonakshi with just one our to spare knowing that the Bharat has reached decides to waltz off and shoot her scenes?

If Rohit being a surgeon did the same I would still have a problem with it NOT Because I am an insensitive person but because I know that other capable doctors are there to manage the situation for few hours or a day... Just like Netra ji could have shot a filler episode with her secondary characters, old Parvati clips etc.

For a show that prided on being close to reality this is one of the most wahiyat sequences ever.

And tomorrow she'll ask Raima for help.... And Raima who's been looking for an opportunity will get one where help ke naam par she'll take Sonakshi's place 🤮

If this was an EKTA show or a reprised version of SSK or something I wouldn't be this affected and ranting like there's no tomorrow... But KHOT waa special.. Trying to make it mediocre like other shows is just HEARTBREAKING 😭😭😭

OMG you just voiced my opinion . I used to rewatch episodes till the Mahatre track. Till that time the series has some logic to it. But after that 26 September ke liye they just ruin the story like anything. I think the writer changed after that or the channel pressurised them for TRP. I miss the old KHKT without any unnecessary drama.

I agree with you, I used to be so impatient for the next episode until the Mhatre track. Even today I watch them many times. With the 26 Sep thing they have ruined everything. Insensitively rushed through a love story which could have been a master piece.

But guess they needed the TRP’s - which unfortunately is still the same. One thing they did not realise is the risk they were taking if the TRP’s do not increase they would lose the ardent fan following the show had.

I think with 26 Sep track they took the track of no return, hen now they have become an average TV serial where characters become positive one and off and just full of OTT drama - without any substance.

Disappointed for sure ☹️ would continue until at I reach a point where it would not be bearable any more.

I already told ..this show going on ekta way ..first prenup.is a joke between Dil and FIL ..it is zero percent reality ..

And footage getting destroyed without backup is a joke ..in this 4g technology era

It was all good until the stalker track happened...it gives such a creepy vibes..they could have shown it in a light hearted way

If sona had any emergency she could have informed rohit ..brides never step out of the house alone 2 days prior to the wedding..if she was to be late people could wait for her instead of someone else doing proxy for her..its highly illogical...

Exactly what I was thinking. They are practical, mature people. She should have informed Rohit. Nobody would have any problems with waiting for an hour. This show is going illogical like other show's.

What's more funny that she's getting married to a surgeon with whom we usually associate the word "emergency". Instead they had to show Sona coming late both for engagement and wedding. I am just glad that I can see no Parvathi cut outs at the wedding. Not that Sona would have really minded ... I think it's time to leave logic behind for this show also.
