After a very long time I have come across a show where almost after a 100 episodes the male lead genuinely admired the female lead for her beauty. Before, today Abir had always been attracted to her fierceness, her strength of character the way she never hesitated to do the right thing the way she never shied away from expressing her point of view and the way she had the ability to weave things together. The way she spread happiness by taking away a bit of his pain.
“Tum awesome ho”
“Humrahi society main har kisi ko lag ta hain kay larkiyion ko bechari types ka hona chaiyay. Lekin agar koi aisi larki ho jo apna point of view rakh thi ho aur uss ki responsibility layti ho toh un kay liay who alag hoti hain ussay samaj nahi paatay”
“Main sahi kaam karna chaata hu Misthi sahi kaam karti hain”
“Tumhara dil saaf hain tabhi toh itna khoobsurat hain”
“Shut up Mishti, tum khud ko bhoj keh kar sirf apni insult nahi kar rahi uss insaan ki bhi insult kar rahi ho jis nay aik smart, khud kay faislay lenay wali aur un faislon ki responsibility lainay wali ki parvarish ki”

I mentioned these dialogues because Abir has always complemented the personality traits that make Misthi unique granted that he did praise her when she was wearing that blue dress or when he was drunk but today he was genuinely mesmerized by her beauty. The entire scene where Kuhu asks him that who he is going to meet and he says “Some VIP” to the time she walks in was beautiful. Time stands still and remember how once Abir said “Yay kon chala hain dhheray say ahaat ka rang sunhera hain” and now he just knows its her “Tab mujay khabar hoti hain shahid tum ahanay wali ho”
Focus on that particular line “Dabe paon jab gham saare chod ke mujho jaatay hain..” that’s the effect Mish has on his life. In a way she somewhat soothes his pain. At the time of Ketki’s wedding she ventured out alone at night knowing that her friend would be upset as she just wants to check up on him. Abir that day was visibly distressed as he recalls his father abandoning him and expresses about how much he misses him and at that precise moment she shows up and he can’t help but embrace her in a hug. The fact that even when his own family didn’t bother to ask him how he was holding up she came to check if he was okay meant a lot to him that say which is why he goes like “Tum awesome ho” and not only. She deliberately loses the cycle race that day but they both gain a beautiful friendship and as time passes we see how even at other occasions Mish manages to see beneath his mask of happiness. She tells him not to dwell on the past and become sad about his father , she notices his distress during the painting track and goes inside a sea of fire to save what’s dear to him. He rests her head on his shoulder once and once he rests it on her lap because she just makes him feel that he is at home. No wonder he loves her so much.
The entire shayri he says here is beautiful and in bgm of dheeray dheeray heightens the scene as we see Misthi walking in the rain fiddling with her umbrella and boy oh boy she does look gorgeous. There is just something about her today which compels Abir to keep on looking at her and he is so much in awe of her beauty that she has to shake him out of his reverie.
“Aiber aisay kia dekh rahay ho”
“Soch raha hu itni achi shaayri mann main hi bol di agar tum bolta shahid tum impress ho jaati” Oh homeboy you don’t need to impress this girl further she is already madly in love with you.
“Oh please yay chand phool etc har compliment main daalna zaroori nahi hain kabi kabi normal insaan ki tarah simple compliment bhi day saktay ho who bhi effective hota hain” She tells him that not all the time he needs to use heavy and flashy words to complement even simple words will suffice
“Aaj tum achi lag rahi ho looking good” Aww the way he says it with so much sincerity was so cute.
“Thank you”
Than he proceeds to ask her if she is this dressed up for the doctor and in order to tease him his angry chroni plays along and is actually miffed that she got ready for the doctor and not him. Poor boy doesn’t know that since morning the girl has changed five dresses and was applied makeup for him. The way she instantly calls out to him when she realizes that her Ajeeb RV got upset was so cute but than she is interrupted by Jasmeet.
Now going back to initial scenes Misthi convinces BM that she needs fresh air and BM tells her that one day she will find that special someone and forget about her. However, she hugs her BM and behind them Abir looks on and can’t help but admire their bond.
“Inn dono ko dekhta hoon toh lagta hai ki maa ke gale lag kar duniya ki har problem chotti lagti hai ... phir yaad aata hai, ki meri maa toh beto ko gale apne matlab se hi lagati hai” poor boy longs for selfless unadulterated love from him Maa but sadly he has never gotten it and my heart goes out to him. How much pain he manages to hide behind his cheerful demeanor. Misthi assures BM that she would always be a priority in her life and then she tactfully maneuvers the situations so she and Abir can have some alone time. They both try to discuss Kuku and Abir tells her not to worry too much.
“Tension lainay ki koi baat nahi hain Mishti”
“Tension toh tum lay rahay thay mujay tabhi samaj gaya tha jab tum mujay aur BM ko dekh rahay thay” How well can this girl read him she sees right through him and instantly knows that something big is bothering him. Abir tells her that Kunal didn’t tell him the issue and than he muses that how Mish is unaware about Kunal running away and how he can’t muster up the courage to tell her. I have a feeling this will cost him later. Misthi asks him to talk to kunal as she knows that Kunal will always listen to Abir no matter what.
“Main Naanko say baat karun ga tum meray saath ho na” aww how innocently he asks her if she will support him and how cutely Misthi answers in her own style telling him that he needs to stop asking her such absurd questions .
“Tum backbencher ho?
Building secretary ho?
Pados wali meena Aunty ho?
Nhi ho toh yeh bekaar ke swaal kyu puch re ho.....”
“Naanko aur yay situation bohot complicated hain tum deal kar paon gi”
“Tumhara saath dena meray liay sab say easy hain AC ko underestimate mat karo mujay pata tum kuch na kuch soch hi lo gay” this is the biggest hint which is foreshadowing that Mish will not misunderstand Abir when the truth comes out rather she will support him if the families blame Abir as he did vouch for Kunal. I think she will be hurt that he didn’t tell her but she will also understand as even she withheld information from him and as she said that supporting him is as easy as breathing so like she said we shouldn’t underestimate her after all she is Abir’s angry chorni.
The Mumbai track seems interesting it feels like the story is progressing to Abir’s Baba track and I am so excited. It sort of is also going to be a test of Mishbir’s love because if Kuku marriage fails them getting together will get difficult. Also I have a feeling that the narrative is already flipping we will get to see a more vulnerable Abir who will lean on Mishti for support we sort of already saw that today. The boy who was left behind needs closure I just hope that Abir’s Baba doesn’t turn out to be a disappointment because homeboy deserves all the goodness in this world.
Stray thoughts
• The scene between the RV bros was nice it sort of showed how Kunal is fond of cheating in order to win which he kind of did in real life too by making his bro believe that he loves Kuhu and by trying to send Mishti away from their life.
• His rant on how everything is about Abir was rofl because from the start the show has been about Kunal getting rejected and Kunal ristha
• Also this guy has no mind of his own now he plans to listen to the lawyer and out up another act in front of Kuhu
• Kuhu is likable when she is actually being nice to people instead of saying nasty stuff and pushing and injuring people. If only she mends her relationship with Mish than I will sympathize with her.
• So, even Abir’s Baba is in Mumabi so its kind of like a familymoon with fantastic four,BB,Jas and Baba being in town.
• BB is back to her old self of blaming Mish for everything matlab kuch bhi
• Abir’s smile when Kuhu is talking about Mish was adorable homeboy is completely whipped.

• The best part though was how Abir some how convinced the doctor to ask BM and BP to send Mish to a specialist for a checkup and that phone call lmao they are so cute and precious, and they must be protected at all costs
