Hey everyone! Wednesday's episode just left me with a will to pen something down. So I did. This a conversation between Mickey and Minnie regarding the Hanita wedding. Hope you enjoy and if you don't, constructive criticism is always welcome. ❤️

Mickey rushed up the stairs of the haveli, in search of the one person without whom this wedding would feel incomplete. The walls were decked with flowers and lights, glowing as if the entire house was a part of the celebration.
Reaching the top of the stairs, he saw Minnie sitting on the decorated bed with her back facing him. He moved quickly to her side and put a hand on her shoulder, making her jump slightly.
"Minnie tu idhar kya kar rahi hai yaar? Sabh niche tera wait kar rahe hai. Tu toh itni excited thi iss shadi ke liye, abh tu khud hi miss karegi kya?" Mickey pulled her leg but Minnie remained where she was, still looking at what he now realised was a photo frame of the mother-daughter.
"Yaar Mickey, sabh badal jayega na abh? Babes abh sirf meri babes nahi rahengi. Hanuman uncle sirf mere Hanuman uncle nahi rahenge. Infact, yeh ghar, yeh haveli, yeh kamra, inh sabh ke maene badal jayenge meri life mein," She said with a soft smile, but the scared girl hidden behind that smile was visible to Mickey.
He sat down in front of her, gently pried the photo frame away from her hands and looked down at it.
"Badal toh jayenge. Babes alsi mayene mein ek wife ban jayengi. Tere Hanuman uncle law ke eyes mein bhi tere father ban jayenge. Yeh ghar, yeh kamra, yeh haveli teri apni ban jayengi." Mickey looked up straight into Minnie's eyes. "Tujhe ek family mil jayegi, happy si, cute si, kabhi ladenge, kabhi roothenge, kabhi manaenge. Bilkul jaisi tu hamesha se chahti thi.
"Iss baari tere parents teri responsibility se piche nahi hatenge. Jabh tujhe unki zaroorat hogi, voh tujhe tere saath milenge."
Mickey reached out to wipe a tear running down Minnie's cheeks, before she could catch it herself.
"I know tujhe kiss baat ka darr hai. Kahi agar inh khushiyon ko kissi ki nazar lag gayi toh? Kahi abh joh itni mushkil se tum teeno ne yeh rishta accept kiya hai, sambhala hai, voh kahi gum ho gaya toh? Aur tera fear reasonable bhi hai. Infact, chahe tu kabhi accept na kare, tujhe toh left out bhi feel hoga kabhi kabhi. But sach bolun? Yeh tujhe bahut ache se pata hai ki teri babes aur tere Hanuman uncle tujhe kitna pyaar karte hai, kitni care karte hai teri. Voh joh bhi karenge, jaisa bhi karenge, tere ko aur teri khushiyon ko mind mein rakhke karenge," he explained.
"Aur issi bahane shayad mujhe meri real vali best friend aur zyada dekhne ko mile. Vahi jisse tu hamesha care aur worry ke blanket ke piche chupa ke rakhti hai," Mickey finished.
By now Minnie's tears were in full flow. Hearing somebody realise what was going through her mind was a relief. She had tried to suppress her fears for a long time now, having taken up the responsibility of becoming Babita's shield. But now she could be herself, especially with her best friend who knew her inside out.
She reached out and circled her arms around Mickey, hugging him tight and sobbing in full force. Mickey startled for a moment before he hugged her back, running one hand over her head in order to calm her down.
Minnie pulled back but twisted around so she could keep her head on his shoulder. She knew she was needed downstairs, but she allowed herself to savour these few minutes before her life changed all over again.
Mickey opened his mouth to speak, but Minnie beat him to it.
"Abh tu please koi bakwaas sa joke karke mood mat kharab kariyo."
Mickey gave a little chuckle.
"Theek hai, tera loss. Menu ki. Chal, abh niche chal."
Mickey stood up and pulled her to her feet, walking right with her down to the wedding of her own parents.
