Gulzar is not only a legendary writer but a great director as well.
He has directed movies of all sorts in his own distinctive subtle yet profound & layered style.
I have seen all of his directorials, and loved all of them on their own merit.
Which one from the polling list is your most favorite one?
(I am not including hu tu tu & maachis as I just wanted to focus on his directorial classics from 80's & 70's era....& one from early 90's Lekin).

Almost every film of her is my favorite but most fav r PARICHAY for its wholesome entertainment and great songs...and LEKIN for its mystery
you have to watch his directorial//// knowing ur taste in good cinema, u will love every film of Gulzar.
most ppl think Lekin was a ghost story but it was not...
gulzar's films r like onions, u kept pealing layers after layers and got new meanings at each level.
Lekin was about the concept of time & space from a different angle
