Ex love birds Jacqueline Fernandez and filmmaker Sajid Khan have finally decided to leave behind their past relationship and rekindle as friends after 6 long years. The duo started dating in 2011 while shooting for Housefull 2, which starred the model turned actress and was directed by Sajid. However, things failed to work out between the two and they parted ways in May 2013. Despite their breakup, Jacqueline shares a cordial relationship with Khan’s sister and filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan Kunder.
After these many years, it looks like the ex-flame is all set to keep the sour memories behind and things intact between them. As per reports in Mumbai Mirror, Jacky and Sajid are back as friends and have even started texting each other again. The reports further suggested that the filmmaker had dropped by on the sets of Mrs. Serial Killer, a Netflix original film, which stars the actress in the lead role. Reportedly, Sajid also drove Jacqueline home post the shoot.

Meanwhile, when Sajid was asked about his breakup with Jacqueline, he had told the Times of India, "While we broke up in May 2013, in reality right from December 2012, it started becoming sour. So you are already preparing your mind in those five months. Also, when you don’t have a woman in your life, you don’t have someone constantly nagging you, so you end up working better and are more focused. I went for a holiday with her for five days in the middle of making Himmatwala and felt so bad when the film didn’t do well. For Humshakals, I have not taken a single holiday."
