Isn't Tanvi bajaj's sister?

After watching today's epi I couldn't control myself in asking this question😆

Tanvi is muh boli beti of maasi in that case she'll be bajaj's sister 🤔 atleast muhboli sister🤪

How on earth she thought she can get her married to bajaj 🤢

There's two aspect of it.

They've no blood relation and Tanvi is not likely legally adopted . ( That's why muh boli. ) So as such no social or legal issue against such a match.

Moreover, I really don't know whether this Maasi is even his blood related. More likely she's muh boli too ! 😆

But Bajaj considers Tanvi as his cousin .So how did they think he'll even consider such a match. 😆

But in the show, the whole Jamie-Cersei arc was supposed to disgust everyone, which it did- Tywin, Starks, even Tyrion in the beginning. Unlike here, maasi khd hi ship pr sawar hn.

I hope Bajaj ends up saying that I see Tanvi as my sister & reprimands his maasi for even thinking like that. Wrna to beda gadak.

I'm frm south india.we can marry cousins but definitely not maasi's son/daughter it is allowed between bua's son/daughter and Mama's son/daughter

First cousin marriage is illegal as per Hindu marriage act in India.

As per section 3(g) of Hindu marriage act, 1955, an individual cannot marry the person who is in "degrees of prohibited relationship". This clause prohibits marriage between cousins by blood or adoption & many other such relationships.

First cousin marriages are acceptable in Muslim communities by law.

In South India, some communities have first cousin marriages which are socially acceptable but their legality as per the law is debatable.

But Bengal is in East India.

But well, when has EK cared to look for laws. Everything is damn drama for her.
