I condemn violence, tyranny against the Kashmiris: Atif Aslam

The popular singer who has done playback singing for quite a lot of Bollywood songs, took to his Twitter page and shared that he strongly condemns the 'violence and tyranny being conducted against the Kashmiris.' Post scrapping of Article 370 and 35A of the Constitution of India, the state of Jammu and Kashmir has now been split into two Union Territories - Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

The Twitterati didn't waste any time in expressing their views on Atif's tweet. The singer was trolled for his views.

One of the users wrote, "To add a political statement when you are going for such a spiritual journey is extremely sad. Assume you will find it difficult to sing for Indian films for a long time now”.

I want to say a lot but not worth it as i m enjoying beautiful day in jammu and people from opposite side can keep creating their imaginative narratives. Let me enjoy my masala chai with aloo ka parantha.This person deserves no attention. And i hope if he has any self respect, he won't come back running here for big paychecks!
