mayb she can do both. Life is too short not to take up opportunties she is getting. 

at the end of the day she is a student, not actually practicing. I know many would choose same route as her in that position.

If she gets a degree as a doctor one day, and is a celebrity (film star)..imagine the difference she can make in the world. She has a degree she can fall back on, why not pursue a one in a lifetime opportunity to be in films why she can?

Can we stop judging people’s career choices? If she wants to leave medicine and be a Bollywood actress what’s the harm in that? 

I’m sure if you got an offer you’d jump all over it
