CHAPTER -1
Aurangabad police station -
A man , fairly tall , lean but fit ,clad in a Khaki uniform seems to be the age of 30 , was reading a file , facing his back to the wooden table of the small area of the police chauki . Another man clad in a similar fashion, entered in the room,tiptoed. But the former man, instantly get alerted, and turned forward. He was none other than , ACP Malhar Rane , the youngest ACP of Maharashtra . The other man was Biswanath Pawar ,the head constable and Malhar’s most trusted assistant and confidant . He ,wiped his sweat by his hanky and saluted Malhar , “ Sir , isbar khabar pakki hai , Woh Hotel Blue Paradise mein tehra hai , sath mein”... Pawar paused for a while,
“ Sath mein kya... Pawar” ?? asked Malhar impatiently .
Mulgi (girls) hai , finished Pawar .hesitantly.
Mulgi! Malhar though, was apprehending this kind of, information, still he was shocked , and readily come near to Pawar . he said- “ Kitni larki hai ? Pawar ??
Pawar was ready with all the facts, He replied- “14- 17 sal ki ladkiyan hai sir , Abu Dabi le ja raha hai! aur uska naya nam Zahir Abrar hai Sir.
Malhar scrunched his nose in indignation . Six months earlier , he indeed had got a lead , that a notorious criminal , whose actual name though was not known , currently known as , Zahir , was involved in Human trafficking , who used to girls from poverty stricken areas ,lured them to groom as actresses and promise them that he would give chance to be appeared in films. Later those poor girls were sold to rich Shaiks , as their mode of entertainment . Despite knowing much of him, Malharcould not get hold of him, as he had to attend a training session of new recruits in Nasik. Malhar crunched his fist , - “Accha toh ab gehne ki vyaapari ( jewel –merchant )ban ke aya hai ,is bar jane nhi dunga saale ko ! Pawar ! he growled , “ force ready karo avi !!”
Hotel Blue Paradise – It was almost 11-40 ,the entire city was making its last minute preparation ,before going to slumber . The shopmen were putting down the shutters of their shops , the city was, dimly light so was Hotel Blue Paradise. A man in his loose pyjama and kurta ,was drinking whiskey . some unfinished food ,half eaten chicken drumsticks were there in the plate in the corner side of the table ,indicating ,he was having them a while before. The room wasdecorated with scented candles and flowers, It seems, it is his wedding night . But thereality was something else. He was waiting impatiently for someone to come outfrom the bathroom ,that was locked from within. He ,in his staggering feet , reached to the door, and knocked –Ayi larki ! darwaja khol .Bahut huya nautanki , jaldi bahar ha, adhe ghante se aa rahi hun ! aa rahi hun ! kar rahi hai ,jaldi bahar nikal . ajtujhse suhagrat manake hi dum lunga ! saali ! nikal bahar ! varna agar meine tor diya na darwaza , teri khayernehi .
Frustrated,was he, and got tired calling her several times. He again got back to his bed ,now wasin search of tool ,by which he couldbreak the door. Kalyani !!! he shouted ... Kalyani , get shuddered , by the drunken voice of the man. It was not very new to her, shewas, used to her alcoholic father’s indecent behaviour and frequent tantrums ,he used to create when he usedto return to the one roomedapartment she and her mother Madhuri usedto live in the extreme north-west corner of a slum area. But the intention ofthis particular person was different . His filthy motive was clear to him. Kalyani got more inside the bathroom,her hands were shaking, she was sweating bitterly. Only she could do is to pray the god – SHIVJI , on whom she has learned to rely on. It wasalmost 12. The man ,his owner ,hisclient , the notorious leech ,to whom her father ,had sold heryesterday ,was about to break the frail door ofthe bathroom, Kalyani ,shut her eyes, and take the name finally –jai malhar ,mee raksha karo! (Oh Lord Shiva ! Save Me Please!) Before the man broke the bathroom’s door,The main door got opened with a loud thud! Malhar along with some constables, loaded gun in their hands , entered into the room. “griftar karlo use ! Malhar pointed towards theman , who was dumbstruck with such unanticipated events. Police , was the last thing he was expecting. It was a successful raid , Malhar and histeams could rescue all the girls from other rooms , the other officers along with two ladyconstables were handling them . The constables, sealed the room. The man was already taken away by others. Malhar turned to Pawar ,-“ Tum ne toh 10larki bola tha , ab tak toh 9 mili,akhri kaha hai ?” Pawar too seemed to be confused, Suddenly ,both realized ,that there was someone’s presence in the bathroom. Malhar unloaded his revolver, and knocked the door, he in his softest voice , said- “Dekho baccha ! darwaza ,kholo ,hum policewale hai ,hum jante hai tum andar ho,us admi ko hum ne pakad liya hai, woh ab kuch nehi kar sakta, darwaza kholo ,daro nehi . Hisvoice soothed her , Kalyani ,after a little more hesitation, opened the door. Before Malhar could ask anything more, her feetstumbled in the slippery floor of thebathroom, and she was about to fall. Malhar ,instantly caught hold of her,and she ,imbibed in all her grief, despair pain and trauma ,hugged Malhar , like life was no waybetter than this ,and break down in hisarms like a dismantled piece of glasses, leaving both Malhar and Pawar dumbfounded.

Precap-Malhar get mesmerized to see kalyani’s beauty for once, A Dejected Kalyani ,traumatized by the past events recalled her mother’s last words ,that she was going to get the best gift of her life inher 18th birthday . Malhar is shocked to know that Kalyani was not a minor.
