TBH they couldve just given it to both of them. Even Lara/Priyanka shared the debut award its not a big deal.

Even more strangely that year, Bhumika Chawla was also nominated for Best Debut but didn't win - although she was nominated in Best Actress category for the same film 😕

And in 2010, they didn't present the award 😕 newcomers Mahi Gill and Kalki Koechlin won Best Critics Actress and Best Supporting Actress respectively however.

And of course last year they didn't present the award because the front-runners were Pakistani.

Radhika Madan is nominated in Best Critics Actress award - so does that mean she will win?

It will also prevent Janhvi losing to Sara who is a much bigger threat to her than Radhika is.
