Confirmed: Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan to star in Imtiaz Ali's nex

Sara Ali Khan has been making headlines almost every day ever since she declared on Karan Johar's Koffee show that she has a huge crush on Kartik Aaryan. After that, rumours surfaced on the Internet that Kartik and Sara might star in an Imtiaz Ali film. The rumours were neither confirmed or denied by the stars. But now it is been confirmed that the film is finally happening.
A source revealed that Kartik, Sara and Randeep Hooda have been doing readings for a while now and the film is ready to go on the floors. Unlike Imtiaz's previous two films 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' and Tamasha, which were set in foreign locations, this one will be largely shot in Punjab and Delhi. In a recent interview, Kartik Aaryan was quizzed about the same and he also confirmed that he is doing Imtiaz Sir next film. He said that he is one of his favourite filmmakers and I have always wanted to work with him. I am glad it's finally happening.
As per reports, this film is touted to be an extension of Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer 'Love Aaj Kal'. There were rumours that Saif might be a part of the film, but he later denied the news.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara was last seen in Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba' along with Ranveer Singh while Kartik Aaryan will be seen next in 'Lukka Chuppi' alongside Kriti Sanon.
