The scene between Nivi and her very high-class mom Mohini was very good. Both the actors were spot on with their emotions and dialog delivery. I could feel their denial, then anger, then hurt and then even more anger. And a new reality. How could their darling Onu fall for a middle-class girl???
But I was totally distracted by the paint-like makeup on their faces! They seriously need to tone it down. It looks fake and detracts from what could have been a flawless scene.
Even Tom Brady had less war paint on his face last night and he was playing in the super bowl!
