Vijay Deverakonda to make his Hindi film debut in '83 alongside Ranveer Singh?

The southern heartthrob might regale Hindi film audiences soon

Thanks to Janhvi Kapoor the Hindi film audience got introduced to another handsome and talented actor in the form of Telugu film star Vijay Deverakonda. Vijay became a household name after his film Arjun Reddy became one of the biggest hits of 2017 and his antics in the film made him a nationwide heartthrob. His next few Telugu films have also worked big time at the box office due to his instant stardom.

Now, the actor who had recently replied to Janhvi's comments on Koffee With Karan and said, "Lots of love to both Karan and Janhvi. And, I will do a film with both of them soon. According to a trade website, Vijay will soon be making his foray into Hindi films as he is all set to debut alongside Ranveer Singh in the sports film '83 that is being directed by Kabir Khan and is based on India's historic win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup.

Vijay is going to essay the role of stylish and flamboyant south Indian cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth. The shooting of the film is going to begin next year in the United Kingdom and is slated for a release in 2020. The rest of the cast for the film that makes up the playing XI will also be finalized soon.
