It was offensive but how was it racist? Nowhere in her text did the author refer to Priyanka's ethnicity.

Haven't read the original article but reading this it surely feels that Mariah lady is bitter and has hatred towards us... Nick is not a gullible young Ladner who can't make his decisions... and this is not the first time a older lady has married a younger lad... Demi Ashton??? The article was in poor taste...

Clearly the writer seems to be Jonas brother stan and was hurt about Nick J marrying someone brown but she didn't stand a chance. 😆 How is PC a scam artist when she is the bigger star overall. Who cares about Jonas brothers now? Ofcourse I do think the couple gained a lot of attention, publicity, money from this relationship but so do Kardashians. N this is not the first or last marriage of convenience in entertainment industry.

If PC was a scam artist she would have found a better guy than Nick Jonas,the flop prince of teen pop. Maybe a Sheikh or Prince or Ambani. 😆

The woman who wrote it was a black woman- a woman of colour herself so it was a bit tone deaf on her part. Although I've seen some stans on twitter be racist towards the writer. Which is gross. If you can't discuss/argue without dragging someone's race/ethnicity then seek education and betterment.

The writer was being petty and obtuse but I don't think it was intentionally racist.

Racism victim play when there is nothing racist in that article. It sounded more like a jonas fan girl venting her frustration and showing malice. Nothing more than that . People calling the author a woman of color is racist not what she wrote.in the article.
