Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's talent company UBT picks up a strategic stake in the holding company that owns premiere talent company Kwan. The strategic merger is of utmost benefit to both the parties, with the collaboration providing an edge to the operations of both the companies.

With this development Kwan entertainment gains rights and access to UBT's talent roaster including Salman Khan while the superstar's company owns access to their talent and the entire infrastructure and services of Kwan entertainment.

The joint partnership has Salman Khan's company becoming part owners of various other businesses owned by Kwan's holding company such as production, distribution, restaurants and theme parks etc.

This one of a kind association between a Bollywood Superstar with a premium talent agency Kwan entertainment is one of the biggest alliances of the industry this year.

Speaking about the development, Vikram Tanwar, co-founder of UBT says, "We are excited about this partnership and look forward to creating great synergy between the two companies. Producer Madhu Mantena adds, "We are delighted with the opportunity to partner UBT and look forward to building large, sustainable and transparent entertainment services.

With the Me Too movement picking up momentum in India, talent agency company Kwan which was earlier managed by Anirban Blah, now ousted following allegations of sexual harassment, has found a new co-owner in Salman Khan. The superstar's talent agency UBT picked up a strategic stake in the holding company that owns Kwan. With this, UBT became part owners of various other enterprises owned by Kwan's holding company such as production, distribution, restaurants and theme parks, etc.

Now, it is a known fact that Ranbir Kapoor who was exclusively managed by Blah has been with Kwan for a good nine years. We wonder though with Salman becoming part owners to the company, will the young gen star continue to be with the agency given the history between the two? For those uninitiated, there has been a cold war going on between the two stars ever since Ranbir started dating Katrina Kaif. Salman, who was very protective of Katrina, did not like her breaking up with him for Kapoor and since then thigns have been sour between them. Wonder, if Madhu Mantena did speak to Ranbir before he struck the deal with Salman?

Ranbir and Deepika Padukone have been two big names that Kwan boasted of, and hence, it remains to be seen what Ranbir Kapoor does about his relationship with the talent agency?

Well, Salman today took to Twitter to make it clear that his talent will always be called UBT. "I am UBT (Uniworld Being Talented) and I shall always remain UBT...," his tweet read.

Meanwhile, on the work front, while Salman is busy with Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial Bharat, Ranbir is busy with Brahmastra where he shares screen space with girlfriend Alia Bhatt.
