Happy Ending..

It's been a year since Karthik and Purva's first official date. They got engaged six months after that and are now ready to get married. Both the Sinhas and the Reddy's are extremely happy for the occasion and the preparations for the wedding are going on at full throttle. Purva and Karthik had decided that it will be a small family-only affair and after a lot of debates, they decided that they will get married with both Bihaari and Telugu traditions.

The wedding day has come and Purva is standing in front of her father's picture with tears in her eyes.

"Aap dekh rahe hai na? Aaj humaari gudiya byaah ke apne ghar chali jaaegi!" Comes Gayatri's emotional voice. 

Purva stands still as Gayatri comes closer and caresses her hair. "Aaj woh apni nayi zindagi ki shuruaat karne ja rahi hai. Usse aap ke pyaar aur aashirwaad ki zaroorat hogi!" She says. 

Tears start rolling down Purva's eyes as she hugs her mother and cries. Gayatri hugs her baby girl and cries, too.

In his room, Siddhant is looking at Purva's picture and gets emotional as well. Thinking about their childhood days, he wonders how fast she grew up. Anushka comes and sits next to him. 

He looks at her and says, "Hume yakeen nahi hota ke aaj Purva ki shaadi hai. Humaari Purva, jo kal tak do chhoti banaake garden mein cycle chalaaya karti thi, aaj dulhan ke jode mein apne ghar chali jaaegi! I'll miss her Anushka."

"I know you will! Lekin woh itani bhi dur nahi ja rahi humse. 30 minutes max with traffic." Anushka replies and chuckles. "Accha dekho, mein tumhaare liye ek gift laayi hu."

She hands him a gift-wrapped box and asks him to open it. He opens it and sees a beautiful navy-blue tie. He smiles at her and gives it back and says, "Hume nahi chaahiye. Humaare paas already bohot si ties hai."

Anushka is perplexed by his attitude and says, "Siddhant, mein itane pyaar se tumhaare liye ye gift laayi hu aur tum aise behave kar rahe ho? Color pasand nahi aaya?"

"Color toh bohot accha hai aur humaare suites ke saath match bhi karega!" He answers.

"Toh fir?" She asks again.

"Hume nahi chaahiye!" Siddhant gives her an adamant look and gets up.

"Siddhant? Yeh kya baat hui? Problem kya hai?" She gets mad and asks.

"Sach bole?" He asks.

She gives him an angry look.

"Okay baba! Hume yeh tie nahi chaahiye kyun ki agar tum humse naaraz ho gai toh fir se yeh tie humse wapis maangogi.!" Siddhant says in a mocking tone.

Anushka recalls how she had asked him to return the tie and smiles. She goes to him and wraps the tie around his neck and makes the perfect knot. 

She looks at him and says, "Agar maangu toh de dena. Aur suno, agar yeh tie guma di na toh bohot pange ho jaaenge." And tightens the knot a bit too hard. Siddhant grunts and then laughs. He pulls her in and hugs her. 

Suddenly they hear band-baja and rush downstairs to welcome the baraat. Anushka and Gayatri are shocked seeing Riddhi dancing in the front and Neeta understands the look. They all come to the door and Neeta says, "I know Gayatriji. Maine bohot mana kiya lekin Riddhi kisi ki sunti kaha hai? Usse toh bas naachna hai."

"Aree kyun nahi naachungi? Mere eklaute devar ki shaadi hai, mein jethaani banungi. Khushi ke maare ek dance toh banta hai na?" Riddhi replies.

"Ha beta, banta toh hai lekin humaare nanheji ke baare mein bhi toh sochna padega na?" Gayatri says and kisses her forehead.

Riddhi smiles and says, "Gayatri aunty, aaj toh aapke nanheji bhi bohot khush hai. Unki chaachi jo aaegi aaj ghar."

A very pregnant Riddhi beams with happiness and hugs Anushka and Gayatri as they go to the mandap set in the garden and get ready for the wedding. Karthik keeps looking towards the house to get a glimpse of Purva. Srikanth and Siddhant notice it and start teasing him. At panditji's cue, Anushka goes inside to get Purva. Purva is still looking at her Papa's picture.

Anushka sees her and says, "Tum bohot khoobsurat lag rahi ho. Aaj Papa hote na toh sabse zyaada khush hote."

"Hote nahi, hai!" Siddhant says from behind. He goes to his sister and hugs her. "Aaj Papa bohot khush hai. Hum jaante hai ki unhe tujhpe bohot garv hai."

She looks up and asks, "Aapko kaise pata?"

He says, "Hume pata hai kyun ki hume tujhpe bohot garv hai aur tujhe pata hai na  Ma kya kehti hai?"

She smiles and says, "Siddhant, tu bilkul apne Papa pe gaya hai!"

They laugh, and she hugs him. She says, "I'll miss you Bhai!" and cries.

Siddhant can't hold his tears back and says, "I'll miss you, too!"

He lets her go and extends his hand. She takes it as they walk to the altar. Purva sees Karthik sitting there and feels content. Siddhant and Anushka help her sit down as the rituals begin. With lots of love, laughter, and happiness, the wedding concludes and the Sinhas bid farewell to Purva with lots of blessings. 

On her way out, Neeta promises to take care of Purva as her own daughter and hugs Gayatri. Srikanth assure Siddhant of the same while Riddhi teases them to give her baby a sibling to play with. They leave as Siddhant, Gayatri, and Anushka look at the car disappear in the distance. Anushka hugs Gayatri as they walk back inside.

It's been three weeks since the wedding and Purva and Karthik are enjoying their honeymoon in Europe, Riddhi and Srikanth are getting ready for the arrival of their baby, and Neeta and Gayatri are just enjoying their retirement.

In the morning, Anushka comes downstairs, all ready to go for a jog. Gayatri sees her and inquires about it. Anushka replies, "Ma, yeh shaadi aur kaam ke chakkar mein apni health ko toh ignore hi kar diya tha maine. Ab fir se routine mein aaenge na!"

Gayatri says, "Ha woh toh hai. Aaj se hum bhi bas healthy khaana banaane waale hai. Thoda pet ko bhi toh aaraam mile!"

Just then Siddhant comes down, ready for his morning jog, too. "Aree tu bhi ja raha hai? Hume toh laga tu aaj bhi office jaldi jaaega."

"Nahi Ma, aaj se office 9 baje shuru karenge. Ab toh legal staff bhi hai toh hume subah mein thoda aaraam rahega." Siddhant replies.

"Accha hai, tu aur Anushka saath mein jog karna! Toh hume Anushka ki chinta bhi kam hogi." Gayatri says with a smile.

Anushka says, "Woh toh theek hai Ma lekin hum saath mein nahi bhaagenge."

"Kyun?" Gayatri asks.

"Kyunki, hum aage peeche bhaagene." Anushka replies.

Siddhant is confused and asks, "Aage peeche?"

"Ha! Mein aage aur tum mere peeche!" She says in a teasing tone and Gayatri chuckles.

"Aisa kuch nahi hoga. In fact, tum humaare peeche bhaagogi!" Siddhant says irritated.

"Whatever!" She replies and says, "Ma, hum aate hai!" and goes to the door.

Siddhant ties his shoelaces and stands up when Anushka turns towards him and says, "Dimaag ke ghode nahi bhagaane Mr. Bihaari, khud bhaagna hai! Pakdo toh jaane!" And takes off laughing.

Siddhant accepts the challenge and runs behind her. As they weave through the streets of Delhi, they both feel content with their lives as they look forward to the rest of their life.
