Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is celebrating her 45th birthday today. She is one of the flagbearers who represented the Bollywood at the global level, and she enjoys a massive fan following at the international circuit as well. She is off to Goa to ring in her birthday with the two most important people of her life - Aaradhya and Abhishek Bachchan for her birthday. Her husband Abhishek Bachchan whisked her away to Goa to celebrate her special day at a quiet place. They were clicked at the Mumbai airport a while back.

Aishwarya chose to wear a white top with denim. Aaradhya looked adorable in a white dress. Abhishek went the casual route and was seen wearing a blue hoodie with denim. They were all smiles as they posed for the shutterbugs. According to a report in a leading daily, Abhishek, who is shooting for Anurag Basu's next in Kolkata, took a break from his work schedule to ring in Aishwarya's 45th birthday.

After almost a decade, Abhishek and Aishwarya will reunite on-screen for Anurag Kashyap's Gulab Jamun, which will be helmed by debutante Sarvesh Mewara. Aishwarya and Abhishek will play a married couple in Gulab Jamun which chronicles around three generations and is a slice-of-life film.

In an earlier interview, Aishwarya had revealed that the script of Gulab Jamun was offered to the couple, a year and a half back. While they had agreed on the idea then, AB Jr had decided to take a hiatus from Bollywood. When he returned with Manmarziyaan, the chatter about Gulab Jamun began again. Aishwarya and Abhishek finally came on board as they felt that they fit the narrative of the beautiful script perfectly.

On the other hand, in an EXCLUSIVE interview with Pinkvilla, Abhishek had spoken to us about Gulab Jamun and shared, "Gulab Jamun is a very sweet script which Sarvesh Mewara has written and he is going to be directing it. It's the film we both liked very much and we both really want to do. When we will be doing it, we haven't decided."
