Yet again . The concept was.not accepted ! If they will show ema as something natural and normal how else will the audience react ? To the top of it, whitewash the leads and make the good person suffer

It's EMA n they shd hv shown it as wrong, characters flawed, guilty n coping.. but no...

What went against the show is not EMA... the way it was portrayed as divine love is wrong.. there was no depth shown in Kunal Nandini relation.. on top no guilt n remorse.. stupid dialogues n nonstop never ending whitewashing...

I think people are fine with a concept like this. In life we sometimes have to be open-minded and accept the real reality. Not live in a bubble full of fairy tales. Ugly situations happen and we need to understand that.

What I think people hated is how they presented the EMA. And the poorly written characters. And the lines that were given. This show and some I know, made a mockery out of marriage and love and relationships. If they had stick to the original plot and not dance around it, I think the show would do pretty well.

I am saddened if the news is true and for one reason only, Mauli.

EMA has been shown loads of times on tv, so it's not like we're not ready. The problem was the way it was presented. First off, how they kept showing god/ divinely signs for kunal-nandini as if they are a couple blessed by god just like they do with other serials.

Kunal had no reason to cheat his wife of 7 years who he loved so much right up until the point he saw nandini, a wife who was loving, supportive, understanding etc and he himself even after cheating on her himself said he doesn't know how he became distant from mauli, but the idiot worded it as how "they both" rather than him. Audience couldn't digest or fathom him cheating on a wife like mauli, and hence audience saw it as shameless lust which he was passing off as love, especually as even to himself he was unable to give a reason why he betrayed her past his "pyaar and juzzbaat" crap justification.

Nandini had an affair with the husband of the girl who was her best friend who saved her and supported her from an abusive husband. She stole the husband of the girl who was her saviour and support just because her own life was devoid of a loving companion, instead of concentrating on getting back on her own feet and leaving mauli and kunal's life irregardless of kunal's cheapo advances and stopping her from leaving. Just because her best friend's husband convinces her that he loves her and not her best friend anymore, it becomes easy and justified for her to go ahead and pursue an affair with her husband, rather than sticking to her plan of running away from him and her feelings for the sake of friendship? That just makes it seem that she just needed a strong indication and thumbs up from him to be able to pursue her feelings for him, and that running away was almost like she was hoping he would stop her. Again, audience were unable to digest this.

Then came post revelation attitude of the two cheaters. Both of them continued meeting and talking to each other knowing that the truth was now in front of mauli and she was broken about their affair, but they still were unaffected. They justified themselves with the words like love and emotions. They acted like mauli didn't even exist, and they acted like husband and wife behind her back. This was the last straw for the audience.

They can make it beautiful by showing strong Mauli nd her journey alone without her fattu pati..but as Mauli is Aditi not Darshti so dis is not going to happen..it's better k band ho jaye ye show..

EMA isn't the problem but the handling of it is! It looks like they probably wanted to show some strong crude/bold stuff but couldn't due to limitations on tv n thus everything went haywire! They wanted to take the "bold route but just failed miserably! While I highly doubt this wahiyaat show will go off air anytime soon but if it does then it will be because of everything you mentioned above!

exactly even i think on bv makers were going to show jagya & gauri as a end couple after their redemption but actress who played the role of gauri left the show that time so they changed their plan and redeemed jagya alone and bring new lead for him.. so it's doesn't matter if ema is shown in mature way and punish who are wrong then audience would not mind to watch.. no matter if it's ema show..
