Exactly. The word azeez has been ruined for me.
I needed a long track about Zoya contemplating her feelings for Aditya amidst all their fights.
There's a fine line between love and hate, isn't it? The CVs could've exploited that to their advantage but nooo lets go the typical BFF falls for each other route

Too much info: but my friend's caption for that was that Zoya is trying to say "wreck me" with her eyes 🤣

UGH STAHP😡😭

We could have gotten such scenes even post leap. Both could have met again as strangers elsewhere instead of Zoya declaring him as his best friend so randomly. Dumbest creative move which not only ruined the credibility beyond repair but also ruined the progression to their love story. Even after that paak rishta fiasco, they had all the opportunities to get back on track!

@Bold: Boom, YAS! Like I know for sure Adi fell for her around the time he rescued her from the terrace. But Zoya literally only realised that her so called friendship was love on the day of her wedding. If Adi hadn't turned up at the venue, she would have happily gotten married to Mr Khamba😆 How effing ridiculous are the writers. Ugh I don't wanna rant anymore. You know what I think about the whole ordeal anyway!

Sorry to intrude in the convo but wanted to point out that I don't think Zoya intended to marry Arshad at all...she only agreed to marry him because she was pissed off at Adi...her intention was to say no to him after the 2 weeks ... if Adi had just given her time to let it play out, she would have ended it with Arshad because she never wanted get married to anyone lol Adi wasn't even in her radar as a potential husband because she was in Azeez dost mode

I feel bad for Zoya's character though...Jenny is doing the best she can with what she's given but the Zoya pre-leap and the Zoya post-leap feels like two different female leads...it's also like two different shows completely now...esp since none of Zoya's original qualities or looks have been retained. I wish Zoya would speak some urdu or wear her old dressing style once in a while, just to remind us that she's still the same chick as the beginning of the show, only better/stronger/independent with Adi
