At the Sinha house, after dinner, Gayatri and Purva get ready to go meet some relatives. Anushka and Siddhant decide to stay home. While getting ready, Gayatri calls Anushka in her room. When Anushka comes, Gayatri gives her a beautifully carved wooden box.
"Yeh kya hai Ma?" Anushka asks.
"Tumhaara shagun." Gayatri replies with misty eyes. "Humaare bade armaan the k jab Siddhant ki shaadi hogi aur humaari bahu ghar aaegi, tab hum usse dher saare tohfe denge.. dher saara pyaar denge. Lekin jab sach mein humaari bahu ghar aayi toh humne usse theek se aashirwaad bhi nahi diya."
Anushka interjects and says, "Ma, aap..!"
Gayatri quickly wipes her tears and with a big smile, adds, "Humne yeh haar khaas apni bahu ke liye banvaya tha. Khol ke dekho kaisa hai?"
Anushka smiles and opens the box. It's a beautiful gold set with a rose themed necklace, matching earrings, and bangles. As she admires the beauty and simplicity of the set, Gayatri asks, "Kaisa laga? Agar tumhe design pasand nahi hai toh isse tudva ke tumhe jaisa pasand hai waisa banva lena."
"Bohot khoobsurat hai Ma. I love it!" Anushka replies and hugs her.
Just then Purva calls, "Ma chalo! Der ho rahi hai."
Gayatri and Anushka go downstairs. Gayatri says, "Anushka sab theek se bandh karke tum log so jaana humein shayad der ho jaaegi."
Anushka nods and they leave.
Siddhant is working in his room when Anushka comes with a cup of tea and gives it to him and goes to the dresser and starts removing her jewelry.
Siddhant's attention is drawn to her. Mesmerized by her beauty, he goes to her and stands behind her in front of the mirror. She looks at him the mirror and feels shy by the way he is looking at her. As their gazes are locked, Siddhant gently moves her hair to one side and kisses her neck. Anushka closes her eyes as feels his strength surrounding her and shivers. As Siddhant gently nuzzles her, she opens her eyes and turns around. She looks in those eyes that have looked over her all her life and overcomes with immense love for her best friend.. her soulmate. She kisses his eyes and forehead and hugs him. As her arms tighten around him, Siddhant loses himself in her embrace and holds on to her.
Hair fall on her face as she pulls back. Siddhant runs his fingers on her face and tucks her hair behind her ears. Still holding her gaze, he caresses her arm and brings her hand to his face. The familiar gesture brings back the memories of their moments from the night she got drunk. Stepping closer, she kisses his neck. He feels her heat to his bone and holds her face and kisses her. The searing kiss melts her, and she wraps her arms around him and feels the rhythm of his heartbeat matching hers.
They pull apart and he rests his head on hers. As her fingers run through his hair, he feels a sense of serenity and smiles looking into her eyes. She smiles back at him and closes her eyes. He lifts her up in his arms and takes her to the bed. In the soft glow of moonlight peering through the window, Siddhant and Anushka give in to their blissful togetherness.
In the morning Anushka gets up first and gets ready. When she goes downstairs, she sees Gayatri busy preparing much more food than any of them eat at breakfast.
Gayatri sees her and says, "Aree tum jaag gai? Good morning. Aao apni coffee le lo."
She gets her coffee and asks with a smile, "Ma itani subah subah itana saara khaana? Koi daawat hai kya ghar pe?"
Gayatri nods with a chuckle and says, "Aaj Neetaji aur bacche lunch ke liye aa rahe hai."
Anushka gets elated hearing that and says, "Sach? Ma ne mujhe toh kuch bhi nahi bataya."
"Kya nahi bataaya?" Asks Siddhant coming downstairs.
Anushka looks at him with a big smile and says, "Ma, Anna, Bhabhi, aur Karthik lunch ke liye aa rahe hai."
Siddhant is surprised and asks his Ma, "Yeh kab decide kiya aapne? Kal raat tak toh koi plan nahi tha!"
"Kal raat Neetaji se baat hui toh baaton baaton mein bann gaya plan." Gayatri replies and adds, "Ab tum log jaldi se breakfast kar lo. Aur Siddhant baad mein bazaar jaake sabziya le aana."
Siddhant nods and sits down for breakfast. Anushka gives him tea and parathas and chuckles remembering him asking about them at her house. He asks her what happened. She reminds him of the incident and how Prabhakar had glared at him and they both laugh. Just then Purva comes yawning and joins them at the table after getting her tea. She sees the preparation for lunch and asks about it. Anushka informs her about the lunch and Purva gets happy thinking about Karthik.
Purva notices the change in Anushka and asks, "Kya baat hai Bhabhi! Aaj badi badli badli lag rahi hai aap."
Anushka suddenly gets conscious about her happiness from last night and wonders if it's visible on her face. Siddhant notices it and chuckles.
"Matlab? Jaisi roz dikhati hu waisi hi toh hu." Anushka asks all nervous.
"Nahi. Aaj kuch aur hi badle badle se rang hai aapke." Purva replies. "Yeh saari chod ke jeans aur top pe aa gayi. Kyun?"
Anushka feels relieved and smiles. She says, "Jab nayi nayi shaadi hui thi na tab bohot shokh tha sajne sawarne ka. Ab woh hi shokh headache lagta hai. Sab kitana sambhal ke pehn na padta hai aur saari fold karne ka toh pucho matt. Issi liye.."
"Ek minute? Yeh saari fold karna tumhaare liye headache kaise hai? Woh toh tum humse karvaati ho." Siddhant interjects.
Purva is surprised and asks, "What? Aap saari fold karte hai?"
Siddhant replies, "Karte nahi hai. Teri Bhabhi karvaati hai. Ek baar help kya kar di ab roz karna padta hai. Issi liye accha hai k usne jeans aur top pehen na fir se shuru kar diya warna hum toh.."
But Anushka hits him before he could finish. "Bol toh aise rahe ho jaise akele karte ho sab. It's a two-people job."
Purva laughs and says, "Jo bhi ho, aap pe na yeh casual outfits bohot suite karte hai."
She gets up, goes to Anushka, and hugs her. She adds, "Ab lagta hai k humaari puraani Anushka hume wapis mil gai. Yeh Bhabhi-Nanand ki formalities se hum bore ho gaye the."
Siddhant takes their picture as they laugh. They finish their breakfast. Purva goes upstairs to get ready, Anushka starts helping Gayatri, and Siddhant goes to the market to get vegetables.

Around noon, Neeta, Riddhi, and Srikanth come for lunch. Anushka hugs them and welcomes them inside. As they come in Gayatri and Purva greet them, too. Purva goes to the kitchen to get water while everyone else sits in the living room. Purva peeks out the kitchen window to see if Karthik is coming behind them but gets disappointed realizing that he didn't come.
She goes to the living room with water and Siddhant comes downstairs, too and greets everyone. Neeta and Gayatri go outside, sit on the swing, and chat. The young clan stays inside as Srikanth and Siddhant start talking about work.
Riddhi rolls her eyes and says, "Anushka, pata hai kya? Humaari shaadi workaholics se hui hai. Sunday ko bhi office ki baatein."
"Sach Bhabhi. In fact, I am surprised ke Siddhant neeche aaya. Varna jaise sincerely woh upar kaam kar raha tha, mujhe laga aap sab ko uss se mile bina hi jaana padta." Anushka jokingly replies.
"Dekha Siddhant, ab inhe humaari baaton se bhi problem hai." Srikanth adds.
Siddhant looks at Riddhi and Anushka and says, "Tum log apni baatein karo. Hum apni baatein karenge."
Riddhi winks at Anushka and says, "Theek hai bhai. Chalo Anushka hum apni baatein karte hai."
She waits till Siddhant takes a sip of water and asks, "Siddhant ki Janeu abhi bhi hai ya..?"
Siddhant chokes and starts coughing just as Anushka's eyes become wide and she covers her mouth with a shocked laughter. Riddhi gives Siddhant a victorious and naughty smile. Srikanth and Purva are confused.
Srikanth asks, "Siddhant ki Janeu? Matlab?"
Riddhi smirks at Siddhant and says, "Sri, hum toh apni baat kar rahe hai. Abhi Siddhant ne hi kaha na.."
"Galat kaha.. Siddhant quickly replies. "Sab saath mein baithe hai toh apni apni baat thodi karenge?" and gives a pleading look to Riddhi who smirk in return.
To change the subject, he asks Srikanth, "Aaj Karthik nahi aaya lunch pe?"
This gets Purva's attention as Srikanth replies, "Pata nahi. Subah subah kisi ka phone aaya tha toh woh chala gaya. Keh ke toh gaya hai ki seedhe yahi pe milega. So, let's see."
Purva feels relieved knowing that he isn't avoiding her as lately he had been distant from her.
Neeta and Gayatri come inside and asks the girls to start serving the food. They all sit at the table and start eating. They're almost done eating when Karthik enters and joins them.
"Tu kaha reh gaya tha Karthik?" Neeta inquires.
He hesitates a bit wondering how Purva will react when she finds out where he had been.
Srikanth asks, "Tu kisi meeting ke liye gaya tha na? Kis se mila?"
"Areee Bhabhi, yaha pe toh sab workaholics hai." Anushka says and adds, "Sunday ko kaun si meeting thi?"
"Aree yaar usse saans toh lene do?" Siddhant says and hands him a glass of water.
Gayatri adds, "Ha bete. Tum waqt rehte aa gaye na. Bas.." and serves him food.
Neeta sees her son's hesitation and says, "Tu kaha gaya tha? Sach bata!"
Hearing seriousness in Neeta's tone, everyone falls silent. Karthik gathers strength and says, "Nupur se mil ne!"
As he had expected Purva gets upset hearing this and so does Siddhant, Gayatri, and Anushka. Srikanth and Neeta get uncomfortable as well.
But Riddhi gets angry and says, "Tumhe uska phone aaya tha? Aur tum uss se milane bhi chale gaye? Itana kuch ho gaya aur uss ne ek phone bhi nahi kiya aur ab usse tumse milna hai?"
Srikanth interjects and says, "Riddhi.."
"Kya Riddhi? Sri, it's not a co-incidence ke usne press conference ke dusre hi din Karthik ko call kiya. She is a gold digger." She angrily looks at Karthik and says, "Aur tum uss se milane gaye the?"
"Relax Bhabhi!" Karthik replies. "Mein koi rishtedaari nibhaane nahi gaya tha. Uss se rishta once and for all khatam karne gaya tha."
He takes out some papers and says, "We are finally divorced. Uss ne naatak toh bohot kiye but like you said, itane dino tak na koi phone na kuch aur conference ke agle din madam ko mujhse milna hai."
"Pakka uss ne sab sign kar diya?" Riddhi asks to confirm and when Karthik nods, she says, "Toh fir happy Independence Day. Uss nautanki se aazadi Mubarak ho."
He laughs to try and defuse the tension but Purva gets up and goes to put her plate in the kitchen. Gayatri and Siddhant also feel a little uncomfortable. Anushka puts a hand on Siddhant's knees and smiles at him. He smiles back and she says, "Ma, mein dessert leke aau?"
Gayatri says, "Aree tum baitho hum leke aate hai." And goes to the kitchen. She sees her daughter start cleaning everything and puts her hand on her head. A tear drops from Purva's eyes but she quickly wipes it off. Gayatri takes kheer to the table and serves everyone. They all eat in silence.
After lunch, Neeta decides to talk to Gayatri about Karthik and Purva and asks her to go outside to get some privacy. Srikanth asks for some input from Siddhant regarding Reddy Corporation as they go to the living room and chat. Anushka goes to the kitchen and starts helping Purva and Riddhi starts cleaning the dining table. Karthik finishes his lunch and goes to the kitchen to put his plate. He wants to talk to Purva and urges Ansuhka to give him a few minutes alone with her. She nods and goes to help Riddhi.
