Two days after a 19-year-old student alleged that she was abducted from a bus stop on her way to a coaching centre, drugged and gang-raped in Haryana's Mahendargarh district, raids were conducted to arrest three accused, police said on Friday. A Special Investigation Team was also set up to probe the case.

The father of the young woman, a school topper who was felicitated by the government, said she could have been raped by eight to 10 men.

The mother hit out at the police for allegedly failing to take action in the case and said her daughter was traumatised even as the accused "were roaming freely" after the incident.

"The government talks about Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, but is this the price we have to pay for getting our daughters educated? The accused are roaming freely but police has failed to nab them," the 19-yer-old's mother told reporters in her village in Rewari district.

"The police has failed to take any action. We were made to run from pillar to post before our complaint was taken. The FIR was registered at 1 am as the police kept citing jurisdiction issues making us shuttle between Rewari and Kanina," she claimed.

"All we want is justice," the mother said.

In a Country of 1 Billion, there wud definitely be incidents. Why are you posting it in a Bollywood News Forum just to defame a country? Every single country has such incidents - from Pakistan to US. Rape has nothing to do with Patriarchy. US has one of the highest Rapes vis-a-vis population in the world. Shall we start posting them here and make a blanket judgement on the people there?

I really hope Mods delete this Topic. U are deliberately trying to defame India here by always posting negative articles.🤬

Desi King Each day: Let me search for the worst incidents in India so that i can post them on BOLLYWOOD Forum and then make blanket remarks on a Country.

There is a clear pattern in the kind of posts u put up here. Now, shall we start posting about the incidents in your country too? 🤬

If my house is not clean..I will blame myself for making it untidy and take responsibility to clean it. I don't go and see whose house is worse than mine...no matter how worse others house is...it will annoy me that my house is not good enough as per my own standards. If we decrease our standards and don't complain about it...it will turn in to worst.

The neighbors should not keep commenting on my house when whole world knows how stinky their house is. The intention behind such posts is only to defame a country. This is a Bollywood forum, not a Political one. Else, let us also start posting about the terror camps/goat rapes in Pak and gun incidents/sex slave incidents of US.

Yeah TM even posted India related articles deliberately on 15th August.

Anyways, This is BW forum , and TM has been warned many times by Mods as well...but he/she doesn't listen.

No one is denying the facts...This is disgusting...but TM's Intentions are very clear...and all these articles should be posted in News forum or Debate Mansion. BW forum is clearly not the place for them. Thanks.

First of all its terrible news and hope the girl and family gets justice.

Coming back to the TM he/she does seem to have some kind of agenda. Not sure if he/she is indian or from somewhere else. But always posting negative articles about the country in bollywood section. This have been done numerous times and yet mods haven't taken any action. Shouldn't these be posted in politics section and not in bollywood.
