Aditya and Zoya have been targeted, marked and destined as a pair made in heaven. Much have they gone together as a pair earmarked to be harmed by various militant sources. They even started off by singling each other out! due their painful past. How they saw each other with deep suspicions, hostility and revenge. But then in simple terms love conquers all! Finds a way! To say the least for Aditya Hooda, Zoya Siddiqui is the one and only identified woman as his first love. With love ditties on his lips, a skip in his walk, and joyful peace in his heart! Adi seems to have made it in love! However not quite. As what love is that, which one achieves easily? Adi has yet to test the truth in the love that he experiences. The test of true love is marked by facing battles, in his case involving households and their heads. Besides this, Adi's love, for this moment in time also awaits, the much after response to his love letter. His declaration of immense love for Zoya.
Both Zoya and Aditya are two marked children of two respectable families. Great hopes are pinned on them by their families. Who ensure that the two are spared further emotional upsets in their future lives. Keeping in mind Adi and Zoya's respective, past tragic matrimonial experiences. Both their families are seen to be playing a key role this time, in setting up or arranging their children's future at the present moment in time.
In keeping alive the element of tension and discord where love springs up. We see that Adi and Zoya's progressive closeness towards each other, turns them both into one unpleasantly conspicuous pair.This is evident in the hostility both Zoya and Aditya have to face at the hands of each others parent, namely Wasim Siddiqui and Anjana Hooda.
But then again, love too leaves it's benign marks , upon those whose hearts it wishes to touch! Dear Adi... smiles, with a complacent feel of being lost whilst fully alert ! marked by being one immensely in love with Zoya. A re-run of Zoya in a variety of scenarios floods his inner eye! Even the inebriated letting herself go Zoya! ahh.. the sheer peace and joy of being there for her even at her most embarrassing moments, chuckles Adi. But what is praise worthy, is that even during Zoya's drunken stupor , neither of them marked the purity of their bond, or the reputation of their families! But to discern such fine issues one needs the perception of seeing beyond what seems. Truth can often betray the naked eye. For that one needs a perceptive mind that can differentiate between appearance and reality! Wasim and Anjana like many, base their judgement upon what is evident. Especially in Adi and Zoya's case!
Adi regains his lost in love self, after he realizes that he has lost the love letter he wrote to Zoya! Whereas, his restless hands search for his only for Zoya's eyes! private confession of love. His mother Anjana hands smother Sakshi! A marked to harm woman!. Anjana decrees Sakshi be lost to the world for the approaching two days! leading up to the anniversary! Anjana does not want to lose her two sons over to this marked woman! who holds some Hooda truths in her heart...
Have to say how even Noor's minor misdeed of giving Zoya a good helping of Alchopop was not left untreated with much reprimand from Adi ! even though Noor's motive behind it in theory was noble, yet the practical reality was that it caused Zoya a great deal of discomfort! That Adi refrained from giving Noor the details of his date.. was the best and most worthy punishment he could give young and overly hyped up Noor!
The after affects of the alchopop that Zoya was unwittingly made to consume leaves her alertness impaired with a hangover! and I reckon that's why she meekly succumbs to missing her important duty at Hooda house and meeting Arshad and his family. I also think, Wasim takes advantage of Zoya's partly alert condition so she fails to put up a stiff resistance to meeting the arranged suitors family. Wasim's marked secrecy and tight lipped approach works, as further he ensures that Noor, who he suspects as a go between Zoya and Adi is packed off too! Zoya's support systems are rather gently blocked.
Anjana's obsession with home security only goes to show her obsession of guarding some seedy, sordid secrets about herself from her sons. Perhaps she wants no use of cctv,as they may expose her. Again her snapping at poor Noor for nearly attending her phone, is to guard Sakshi's captivity! Really behind her glamorous lady of the manor image, lies a nasty, who knows a killer? Character wise Anjana is really stained greatly. Cons all by her squeaky clean prim and proper respectable image.
"He wrote a letter to his love and on the way he dropped it! Somebody came , and picked it up! and it put it in their pocket? Zoya's marked unusual absence in Hooda house especially a day before the anniversary! doesn't go unnoticed by Adi. The missing love letter especially who picks it up? Zoya? or worse still her father! strikes Adi with anxiety! Only one way to find out! In person go to to Zoya's house and meet her! Funnily Wasims smart action of keeping Zoya off! phoning Akansha is a bad move. For Adi, was no way going to lose two crucial reasons to meet Zoya! One, pass the opportunity of enquiring about Zoya's welfare. Two , the lost letter gives him all the more reason to find out from Zoya if it got into the right hands?For me these unconscious slip ups pave and mark Adi's route back to Zoya's house, especially in this episode!
When Captain Aditya Hooda leaves his mark! upon the man marked as Zoya's future spouse! Aditya meets Arshad well before Zoya meets her future husband..
It's no accident that Adi first receives a cry of help from a mother, then sees her daughter being subjected to a gruesome throat slitting knife attack! Appearances can be deceptive. Things are not always how they seem! What Adi sees as a near enough fatality incident, turns out to be actually a Tracheostomy procedure being administered by Dr, Arshad Habib, to the girl at risk of respiratory failure. He has to perform an emergency procedure right on the road! to deliver oxygen to the girls lungs, so she could breathe normally.
The small penknife, in the main is perceived to be as a life threatening weapon. Adi being the rash pragmatic man! intercepts like lightening and uses his fast fist as a weapon! to deliver a hard hitting punch on the side of the man's face! marking it with a fine cut! It was a case of mistaken identity! The anti social smart young man turns out to be a professional life saver! Adi realises his misconceived blunder. Apologizes graciously. The irony remains. Can we figuratively assume? that the surgeon's knife will be effectively manoeuvred and wielded by Wasim to sever Aditya and Zoya bond, kill their friendship before it blossoms into love! so Wasim Siddiqui's family honour and respectability can breath?? Aditya turns up at Zoya doorstep ,unannounced and unexpected and uninvited!
Marked by genuine concern for Zoya and the out come of his mislaid letter, Adi literally gate crashes the hush! Hush! Rushed! important meeting underway at Zoya's household. By the manner of conversation and presence of Arshad Habib, Adi can read between the lines of what the set agenda of this important meeting is.
Appearances can be deceptive indeed. Little did Adi realize a while back, that the little sharp pen knife is about to sever the Jugular, central life line vein of his very existence . Zoya is his life line. Wasim's silent cutting cold looks tell Aditya that the man does not carry empty threats! Will Aditya assume that Zoya has not read his letter? He is a man marked by Zoya's love. the decision she takes regarding this Arshad will give Aditya his answer .. if she loves him or not?
The manner in which Zoya's meeting Arshad and his family is conducted. It stands marked by the patriarchal stamp totally. All the women, Roshana , Zoya and Noor have no say in the matter. Even Zoya mother is discouraged to breath a word to Zoya about who the visitors were going to be? Zoya is literally rushed into the meeting under great secrecy. The thing is Zoya, presumably is under pressure, by her father's condition that she could take up Hooda s event management ,provided she does as she is asked by her father to do! So does Zoya go through this harrowing ordeal as a pay back for obliging a very dear friend?
So Arshads wise reference towards the difference between appearance and reality, about authenticity of the seen and unseen truth is interesting. Adi and Zoya cannot see the hatched conspiracy, beyond the face of , love and support their families give to them. Arshad in his first meeting with Aditya cannot perhaps grasp the unseen love that Adi holds for Zoya. Or does the man get the vibes, flowing between the two. Only time will tell..
Meanwhile Arshads entry may well prompt a realization in Zoya that she too within her heart is marked by the name of Aditya Hooda, as he is stamped all over with her name. hamlet53 11.8.18
Precap: Wasim realizes it almost next to impossible to hide things from Aditya Hooda! Somehow he finds excuses to meet Zoya this time as her client! one obnoxious Aditya Hooda who dares to put his aggressive mark on Arshad!
