Superstar Salman Khan, Arjun Kapoor and
comedian Kapil Sharma's name has featured
on the list of offenders who have not paid
the traffic fines despite being issued e-
challans, as per a Mumbai Mirror report. The
report further states that while Kapil's car is
in his own name, the vehicle which was
issued e-challan from Salman's family was in
the name of Arbaaz Khan's film production
company (Arbaaz Khan Production Pvt Ltd),
which produced several movies including
the popular movie Dabangg.
The said vehicle was apparently charged
with Rs 4000 fine for four traffic violations
this year but it has not been paid. The
tabloid quoted Salman's family saying that
they were not apprised of this challan
otherwise they would have paid it off
immediately. On the other hand, a challan of
Rs 2000 has been pending in Kapil Sharma's
name who has been out of the country for
some time now. Kapil is reportedly yet to pay
off the challan.
Another challan of around Rs 2000 has been
listed in the name of Arjun for speeding. The
said list revealed that the people were e-
challaned for several violations including
speeding, jumping the signal and not
stopping at the zebra crossing. Many
politicians and public functionaries also
featured on that list.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman is
currently in Malta to shoot for his upcoming
movie Bharat, which is being helmed by Ali
Abbas Zafar. On the other hand, Arjun has
begun shooting for his movie India's Most
Wanted today in Mumbai.

The thing is these challans can only be seen if you download the MTP Traffic App.  Everyone doesnt know about this.  I only downloaded becoz by chance someone told me they were informed about fines due on their car which they didnt even know about once a hefty fine had built up for late payment.  Then I dwld and checked my car had some parking violation which I dont even know how and why I got it still paid it off online.  So I dont really blame people for not knowing. Awareness has  not been generated tht this app must be downloaded and your car registered and regularly checked for fines.
