Alka anytime

her range is classic

just because Shreya is the current flavour and ofcourse she is also a terrific singer undoubtedly but that doesnt means she has surpassed alka. Shreya is good but not as melodious as alka.

Alka is Alka...Just love her higher notes

i feel relaxed listening to alka songs..Sukoon milta hain

especially the ones like zakhm song- galli mein aaj chand nikla, refugge songs

Voted for Shreya... Alka has a lot of good songs but her high pitch is ear piercing... Shreya is a more accomplished singer than Alka...
to whoever mentioned Alka being warm in person... sorry to break your bubble, she is a big snob.. and very rude... personal experience lol...
