singers in the Hindi film industry. He has
won hearts with some beautiful songs like
Laal Ishq, Kabira, Phir Le Aaya Dil and recent
one Binte Dil from Padmaavat. The list of
beautiful melodies is quite long.
Arijit as a person is quite reserved and not
much active on social media. When a leading
daily asked him if he gets affected by social
media trolls, he said, "I use my social media
sparingly for things that are close to my
heart. I don't read the comments. My team
filters out the comments for me, I don't
involve myself a lot into paying attention to
criticism on social media. I speak what I
want to speak and my team lets me know
the needful."
The singer is quite happy that his song Binte
Dil is receiving so much appreciation.
Padmaavat landed into a lot of controversies
before the release. About the same, he said,
"Every film deserves a chance to be seen,
there is a lot of hard work that goes into
making any film. I am extremely glad that
the song did so well. My heart goes out to
everyone who
were a part of this song, it wouldn't have
happened without either of them."
Recently, Arijit shared his take on being
tagged as a romantic singer. He said, "These
are just stereotypical tags, this was not
intentional at all. I sing all the songs that
come to me with all my heart, with equal
focus and dedication."
Arijit also said that he doesn't agree to the
fact only his romantic numbers work well
and not the fast-paced ones. "I don't think
so at all. I have sung love songs, fast
numbers as well as dance numbers. I am
being as dynamic as possible with keeping
my fans expectations in mind. I have sung
various genres so far and they have done
well," added the singer.
