The reason besides the terribly low TRP why RKC is pulled off air is because such its an expensive show to produce.. it has a big star cast with many established actors. So when it fails to meet the expectation of the channel, its obvious they will cancel it.

The same happened to DSJZ, it was another super expensive show with a big star cast that failed to pull the numbers which caused loss for the channel. Because if they can't get the desired results by investing so much, then obviously they'll cancel it instead of facing more loss.

Now the replacement of RKC is not at all an expensive show.. so even if it fails to pull good numbers initially, they may still keep it on till they find another promising show.

& BTW don't expect any season-2 of RKC, it'll never be back. Instead of spamming on twitter to not end RKC.. the fans should've rather watched on TV.

Agree
Star ast was huge n most were established names including baldev who had nothing to fo

Same with dsjz which had glam styling n big names like sanjay kapoor

But rkc started off at 6 pm n the numbers were always going to be tbe same right?
Same with dsjz
.. the show had a latenight slot n was never gonna work with trp audience ? What was star plus thinking when they launched dsjz n shifted rkc?

Btw i loved both these shows

With star plus good shows are pulled out because of low numbers. They don't care about the viewers. Probably because these shows are watched only by the minority's of the people who like to watch shows with a story line rather than the saas-vahu sagaa which the majority like to watch.

Sad but true I guess
