Hey everyone, i am doing a combined update fro Wednesday and Thursday.😃
Welcome to the Wednesday Update.
At Meera's house, everyone is busy making preparations to welcome the boy and his family. Dishes are ordered from a nearby restaurant. Amar waits by the door with his brother to welcome the guests. In come the boy and his mother. Amar asks if they had problems finding the house. The mom responds that everyone around here knows Meera's name. He gets worried that they must have heard that Meera rejected many proposals. Boy and his mom are welcomed and asked to sit.
Meera comes and is questioned by the mother as to what she has studied. Dolly says that she has studies BA. Mom says her son has studied in London and wants to know where Meera studies. All get anxious but she calmly responds that she went to Queen's college. Mom wants Meera to speak some English. Meera's English is aweful. Boy says that she does not know English. Amar interjects and says that Meera studies were cut short as he had fallen ill and she had taken up responsibility of his shop. Mom taunts them that that the family suffers from heart problems. Daadi says that her family is fit as a fiddle and that they exercise regularly. Boy says he likes what he is hearing. Mother is still not convinced and continues with her drama.
The food is ready and is being served. Mom wants to know whether or not she has prepared said dishes and asks her to name them. Meera gives the correct name to each. The bill from the restaurant is lying on the ground. Dolly hastily steps on it. Mom says she like a daughter in law who is honest. Daadi says Meera is very truthful.
Meera's sister is doing a background check on the internet about the boy. Mom tells Dolly to move. She shows everyone the restaurant bill. Boy creates drama and says that they are all liars. Mom says she does not want her son to marry into a family of liars. Boy demands the family apologize for their actions. He tells Dolly to hold her ears and apologize. She does so but Meera stops her. She pulls up the boy's information and shows it to everyone. There are pictures of the boy consuming alcohol and smoking. He is seen posing with many girls. His mom denies and says she does not anything about this. Meera lashes out and says just a few minutes ago they were talking about morals ans family health. She says the mom and her son a re the real liars. She informs everyone that the boy is actually 31 years old and 25 as the mom had said. Mom is embarrassed and profusely apologizes. Meera says that elders don't apologize to the younger ones. She asks the boy to apologize. He refuses and she twists his hands and murmurs to him. He quickly says he is sorry. He and his mom leave from there.
The family praises Meera for her actions. Dolly says she would have apologized and convinced the family. Meera syas that every boys rejects her because of something or the other. She tells Dolly that she can get her married to anyone so that she would be rid of her. Dolly retaliates and slaps her hard. All are surprised.
Precap----A lady says that Vivan Kappor is the most eligible bachelor in all of London...
Welcome to our Thursday Update😃
All are surprised as Dolly slaps Meera. She reprimands her and says she is her mother and wants nothing but the best for her. Shesays that she wants a rich boy for her daughter and that no ordinary man will do. Meera is tearful and runs away from there. Amar and daadi scolds Dolly. Dolly asks what is so wrong if she is thinking of daughter's future.
Meera reaches practice ground and recalls her mothers words. Her friends arrive and they await the arrival of the coach. He finally arrives but informs them that they will not be practicing. Meera says he sounds just like her mother. He says that their mothers must have been offering sincere prayers God for marriages to happen. He says it would be better if the girls forget about sports. Meera questions about and says that all their hard work and trophies earned will have been for naught. He says that they cannot play as the team is comprised of 7 and they are a person short as Sweety has gone to Soni Kudi Academy. Meera is in disbelief and tells them to wait there as she will go and fetch Sweety.
Amar is worried and starts drinking. He tells his brother and saysthey will get Meera married into a rich family. Amar says how can he pleas everyone? He says if he does as his wife wants, his daughter would be angry at him and if he does as his daughter wants then his wife would be angry on him. Dolly comes and reprimands Amar for drinking. He tells her that the doctor has advised her not to lose her temper so why then did she have to slap Meera. Daadi comes and says her husband drank a whole bottle of alcohol and never got drunk. He never scolded her and loved her for how she was. She says that was how their love story was. She says that the boy should take Meera just as she is just like her husband did. Dolly tells her that in her time it was different. It is suggested that Meera attend Soni Kudi Academy.
Meera arrives at the academy and inquires about Sweety. The receptionist asks whether she is there to join to. She says that there is limited spots available. Meera says this would be the last place she would ever enrol in. She finds Sweety's class and sees her dancing. She talks to Sweety and asks how could she forget her passion for the sport. Sweety says her parents has forced her to attend her. Meanwhile, Meera's sister is saying that Meera will never agree to join the academy.
Meera hides behind Sweety as the lecture starts. Lecturer outlines the qualities that a good bride should possess. She shows them Vivian Kapoor as says he is the most eligible bachelor. She says all girls would want to marry him. Meera tries to see from behind Sweety but is blocked by the lecturer. She thinks that Let Mr. Kapoor come there then she would see what's so special about him.
Precap----Daadi tells Meera to marry someone who accepts her the way she is. Meera says she has to pick up someone at the airport. She collides with Vivan.
