starrer Aiyaary has received a roadblock
from the CBFC. The film which was given for
certification has not received it yet.
As per reports, the CBFC needs an NoC from
Defence ministry. The Neeraj Pandey
directorial the defence ministry and it is only
after their clearance will the makers of
Aiyary get the certificate. It was also said
that the film has been inspired from the
"technical support division" controversy.
This issue was operated under a general
who is at present in the government.
Moreover, delay in the certification will delay
the delivery of film to the overseas
distributors
This is surprising, indeed!
Earlier, a source revealed about the same to
a leading daily stating, "Aiyaary was
supposed to release on January 26 and then
got pushed to February 9 when Padmaavat
decided to come on the said date. It's just a
week left for the film to hit screens but it still
has not received the Censor certificate yet."
The source further said, "The same
happened with Padmaavat where they
didn't give them the certificate on time. The
Censor report on Aiyaary shows pending as
of now. God knows why they are taking so
much time to clear the film."
Another source added, "The film is a political
thriller that deals with the arms deal and the
conspiracies that goes on behind closed
doors within the military forces which got
our defence ministry a little worked up. So
the Ministry Of Defence has asked for a
screening of the film for them first because
they want to review it before it's cleared.
They have still not watched the film and
hence there's a delay in the certification.
Once the clean chit comes from the Ministry,
the certification will happen in no time."
