IPK 3 actress Charu Rohatgi passes away

TV actress Charu Rohatgi, who played the role of Barun Sobti's nani (maternal grandmother) in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3, passed away today. According to reports the veteran actress suffered a cardiac arrest in the morning.

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra shared the news of Charu Rohatgi's demise on her twitter handle. Charu had played her mother in 'Ishaqzaade'.

RIP Charu Rohatgi ma'am. You were the most loving mother in Ishaqzaade and an amazing woman to work with. May your family have the strength to cope with this loss. Will never forget you!!!

The late actress is best remembered for her roles in shows like Pratigya, Uttaran. She played the role of a cleptomaniac dadi in comedy show Trideviyaan.

she was such a lively pleasant sweet-smiling character in the IPK3 Show. very positive approached one. very helpful to Chandni. very understandable about Advay's mental trauma. Yet, drew a middle path where she dint step on their life unnecessarily, but always around to offer them guidance to their problems.
