Baki Shilpa ji hasn't done anything to get Vikas's liking or respect. Infact did too much crossing all the lines. Chahe saari zindagi nafrat kare usko, he has the reasons.

When Akash was harassing Shilpa, then Shilpa also said to arshi ke stay away from Vikas kyunki mujhe uspe bilkul bhi bharosa nahi hai. Shilpa devi bhi kam nahi hai.

I don't find double standards at all. He's still a fanboy of the actress. He's not a fanboy of the person that she is. He endured severe psychological abuse at her hands for a good fortnight for no reason- his name's nowhere on her court case files- but she used him to gain sympathy and a false pretense of righteous anger. He can continue to adore the actress and continue to have a civil relationship with her. That doesn't mean Shilpa is his BFF. You guys are funny. He doesn't have Stockholm syndrome please 😳

You know, sometimes I feel like I'm watching a different show from everyone else. Because on my screen, it was Shilpa who accused Vikas, and not the other way round. She says he ruined her career - she presents nothing to corroborate this - plain rumour-mongering. And based on this primary allegation, she targeted him and defamed him to no end with other shitty allegations. But somehow - Vikas is the villain, and Shilpa has a free pass, because 'Vikas ne kiya hoga'. Based on what?! Unbelievable. This was her preferred 'angle' in the show - to present the poor wronged innocent at Vikas' expense. Suffice it to say - I think it's a pretty shitty angle, and Vikas has every reason to dislike her.

And I agree - I'd be worried if he genuinely liked Shilpa the person, after the shit she's pulled on him. He can fanboy over Shilpa the actress all he likes. And who says he has to be rude to everyone he dislikes? He pursued the truce - now when she's being civil, I don't see why he wouldn't be.
