I think issue is more that Gauri being orphan and having suffered doesnt want another child in that place but this too doesnt make sense as richa will be there to look after the baby right if she doesnt try to kill herself?

instead of showing such nonsense it was a greatl opportunity to send a beautiful message that a woman can stand up for herself and her child by making richa take a stand. for herself and her child instead of staying with a spineless man.

True and Gauri supporting her. That would have been great but I think they brought in this angle to create shaadi ka siyaapa and keep the viewers hooked. Where RiKara are concerned the marriage to Ajay is inconsequential cause G never planned on actually marrying him, Om might not know this but that's the truth..I guess this looming wedding kindof sets a timeframe for Om to manaofy Gauri so it was probably brought in for that purpose. 😕
