This Is How Ranveer Singh Will Get Into Skin Of His Next Character For Kabir Khan's Upcoming 1983'

Man of the hour, Ranveer Singh, seems to have finally let go Alauddin Khilji from "Padmavati. The passionate actor will soon enter into another intensive training under none other than the elite members of the 1983 Cricket World Cup winning squad to prep up for his upcoming movie "1983.

"Members of the 1983 WC squad will be helping us, Times Of India quoted the director Kabir Khan as saying. "They will be there as consultants and coaches for the team.

"1983 is Kabir's dream project based on the Team India's historic win of 1983 World Cup. In the movie, Ranveer will be seen in the role of Kapil Dev, under whose captaincy Indian had won the talked-about World Cup in England. The 46-year-old director, who in the past has given us movies like "Tubelight and "Bajrangi Bhaijan, has also clarified that no prosthetic will be used on the actor.

"There will be some attempt to make Ranveer feel, look, talk and be like Kapil Dev said the director. "But we are not looking to making him look identical to him, ultimately it is Ranveer playing him on screen.
