Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt's alleged breakup news broke the internet recently. Even as the duo refrained from making their relationship public, their photos together spoke volumes.

However, Sid who was present on Neha Dhupia's talk show was asked about his relationship status. Responding to it, Sid revealed that he is very much single. "I am...very much single!," said Sid.

When asked what would his bio read if he is on Tinder, Sid said, "If at all I had my bio it would say Sundar, Susheel and Risky. All Desis would understand and the firangs would ask me for the meaning. But I wouldn't mind trying the app."

Wow, we wonder if Sid is making things clear here!

Recently, an insider revealed to the daily, "Sidharth and Alia have split, and unlike previous instances, this time, it seems permanent. They will not get back together again. The insider further added, "Alia and Sid are avoiding each other and are not even on talking terms now. Maybe with time, they will get back to being friends, but for now, they are maintaining a distance from each other. They were having a lot of fights in the recent times. Mutually, they decided it wasn't working out and it was better to end it."

But, when Sidharth, who was present at the song launch of his upcoming movie A Gentleman, was asked about this rumoured breakup with Alia, he said, "Alia and I break up? For what? Breaking tables and chairs."

I heard Aashiqui3 isn't happening, hence they're not together lol. It was a pre planned strategy, laying in the ground early 😆

If it's true then [:D/] if not then [:D/] seems like a promotional gimmick to me such articles always surface around their movie's release and Sid's round round statements clearly shows he is milking it till the release. Create buzz for his upcoming movie plus create interest for Aashiqui 3 (if it's really happening) as every one knows ex couples working together always provide way more fodder for gossip 😆 it's all PR not believing a word of it but I do find it annoying how they use their personal lives to stay in the news and promote their movies. Why not rely upon content instead if there is any.
