International dancers in D3+

I love the fact that international dancers are performing , and I think it is a great idea, even though I wanted Raghav to choreograph the international squad.
Just a thought, maybe a bit ironical, most people don't know that but a team from India went to World of Dance in LA and won it for India. Desi Hoppers, who doesn't get any spotlight, which is unfair, I think Remo should invite them on D3+.

Check out their wiki page here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desi_Hoppers

Desi hoppers not only won WOD, but also gave performances in America's got talent and got standing ovation.
They also gave an exibition act Day Day Up(china) and when they came back in India, they created a new form of dance called streetmation and hold workshops across India. Desi Hoppers was founder by actor/dancer Shantanu Maheshwari, Macedon D'Mello
Nimit Kotian. I'm sure many people don't know them despite the fact that they are the first crew to bring Indian dance to the international platform so do check out their videos, It's surprising though that an indian crew is more famous abroad than in india.

Don't get me wrong, I love the international team, all are great dancers but they failed to acknowledge their own country's talent, for I don't know what reasons.

What is strange, is that Remo made an entire movie ADCD2, on an indian winning WOD in US but when a real crew did it, no noise. I like Remo but it's weird though, does he know about them or not? Of course the whole dance fraternity knows. So, I feel the dance fraternity is not about celebrating dance, I feel some negativity going on, that's why I lost the hope that Raghav will be given the chance to be a mentor. This guy is talented in both dance and hosting, but I feel that they are wasting his talent being a padosi.

I had seen Desi Hoppers via YouTube. Actually a colleague of mine (non-Indian, ironically) mentioned it to me.
Yes, they are very good. Well maybe will surprise us. Or in one of the other seasons? It could be because they are Indians they are not referred to as 'international'. Not sure.

Thank you for giving background information. I didn't know all that. Shantanu is such a good dancer! I haven't seen him act but he is an extremely good dancer with a beautiful body and face as bonus!

Do you have Twitter or Facebook or something? You could write to him or the team of starplus. You never know 😊

I don't know if that will work but it would have been so nice to have Desi Hoppers on stage. Yup they are indians, but performance is at an international level.

Some more background info:
Anusua from House of Suraj actually auditioned for Desi Hoppers but coudnt make it to the final team.
Raghav knows Shantanu, they danced together at an award function
Terence, Remo's bestie knows about them
Shakti, was a co-actor with Shantanu in D3.
Aryan Patra, knows Shantanu, because they were both in Jhalak Dikhla jaa 9 and Shantanu was 2nd runner up while Aryan actually won the season with Teriya, her partner,

They don't make much noise, or publicity but are very down to earth and talented people. Shantanu, the crew leader is a well established actor and dancer among the youth but desi hoppers is not that popular. And they choreograph their own acts.
So, bringing them on D3+ would show the indian audience how good indian crew are. Fingers crossed :)

This post!! 👏

This dance community is so small.. I mean everyone is connected some way or the other... I like that you've mentioned a few urself..

Remo-DID-3 DID contestants starred in D3-Remo, Dharmesh and Punit did a cameo on D3-terrence played a little part in bindass naach which showcased Desihoppers journey to WOD... I mean so many connections and it doesnt stop here!

And even without connections, an indian team winning WOD in LA amongst so many great international dancers SHOULD have been the talk of the town and such a proud moment among the dance community.. Yet no mention.. Everybody MUST have heard about it without a doubt, yet no buzz.. Its kinda hard to believe!

Oh well.. It is what it is I suppose.. I do wish they get the recognition they deserve..

But thank you for this post

Again, don't know if it will help but.. I sent a message via Twitter.
Good luck to us then 😉 but if you all have an account on social media, then do write something.

Dear Remo, Dance+ Team, Star Plus Team,

First of all, Remo.. I love you! ❤️ (I will grab every chance I get to tell you this 😃)

My compliments for the editing of the show and... for the half hour extra 😊 us addicts though would not might more of course 😃

Also... We got to see more of Raghav and his Crockroachery Smoothness ❤️his popularity level is just rising and rising.

Thank you so much for bringing International Dancers on Dance+ show. We have enjoyed the dancing and the comedy with and around Fikshun ❤️ a lot! And from what I have been reading: he has gained many Indian fans. His cuteness and talent stole a lot of hearts. I hope we can see more of him on Indian dance shows. Dharmesh and Raghav's dance with Fikshun was just epic!!

On behalf of a group of Dance Fanatics from Dance+ Forum, I have mustered some courage for a special request. Is it possible to get Desi Hoppers on the show? They are such an amazing Indian dance crew, performing on international level. They have even won in World of Dance and.. I am sure I do not need to elaborate more, as you all are the professionals and know more about them than we do. All we know is that they are fabulous and it would be cool and fitting to have them on the show. So.. Please? Pretty please? 😊
