EVAB - 24th - 28th July WU Summary

Suman awaits sindoora to tell her friend about the sleeping pills but antara comes and takes her away. Shakti arrives and irritates sindoora before heading to kalawati's room for the puja. Suman is walking in the hallway upstairs recalling sindoora's words regarding sleeping pills and decides to investigate the matter. She heads to sindoora's bedroom and chaman sees her. Suman finds a bill of sleeping pills and puts two and two together. Sindoora is heading towards her room while suman is in her room but suman is saved in time as chaman stops sindoora from entering her room. 

Later suman questions chaman and after much insistence he reveals that he knows sindoora was behind suman falling asleep that day but out of fear of losing his job he couldn't reveal the truth. Suman assures him that his job is safe and she wont tell anyone that he knew. She takes two bags to give to Shakti - on the way she has FB of how she was blaming ranveer and feels guilty. She calls ranveer and apologises but doesn't say what for and hangs up - ranveer is left confused. 

Suman gives the food bags to Shakti and he leaves - as the parmar family are about to do the puja, sindoora blasts music loud and all her friends are dancing - suman tries to stop them but sindoora ignores her - frustrated suman switches off the music system and sindoora is fuming. 

Sindoora angrily tells suman off for turning off the music - suman tries to explain about the puja but sindoora refuses to listen and puts the music system on again and starts dancing. Suman leaves sadly. Upstairs, kalawati taunts suman for failing to stop the music and claims that suman would rather party than take part in ravi's barsi. Suman and Kalawati come downstairs and suman stops the music system upon kalawati's request and then later plays it again upon sindoora's request. This continues till kalawati gets fed up and switches off the music system herself. They have an argument and just then Dadisa, nupur, brijesh, devraj and suhasini return and question what is happening. Kalawati informs dadisa that it is ravi's barsi today. Sindoora's friends leave and sindoora acts all innocent blaming suman for not telling her. Kalawati forgives sindoora and they all participate in the puja. Kalawati gets emotional and suman hugs her, kalawati puts up an act of hugging her back but all the way taunts her for leaving ravi's memories behind easily and not caring for ravi or her. Suman feels sad hearing this. 

At night in SumVeer's room. Suman is recalling all that happened and realises that the necklace was also a trick by sindoora and not ranveer. Ranveer comes while suman is lost in her thoughts - suman sees him and sends veer to sleep with kalawati. Ranveer is taken by surprise and asks why the sudden change of heart and suman replies she wants to fulfil her responsibilities in project C (husband). Ranveer taunts her that she's failed that project completely by failing to come shopping with him. Suman tries to explain but ranveer isn't interested. Suman tries to question him about the handbag and necklace incident, ranveer says sindoora gave him her handbag to give to suman. Suman is shocked and tries to tell him that sindoora is behind the necklace and sleeping pill incident but ranveer sarcastically taunts her and leaves. Suman thinks to herself that sindoora doesn't want veer in the house maybe that's why ranveer is trying to separate veer from suman. 

Next morning. Suman brings tea for sindoora and asks her why she doesn't want veer to live with suman. Sindoora reminds suman that it was ranveer that didn't want veer staying with the couple and not her. Suman says that she knows ranveer would never say such a thing unless he was pressurised into saying and doing this. 

Sindoora says if she knows ranveer so well why doesn't she go and ask him directly. Suman says she is aware that sindoora does not like her and maybe that is why she pressurised ranveer to separate veer from her. She says that no mother can live without her son. Kalawati is standing outside the room and listening to their conversation - she comes in and tells suman off for answering back at sindoora. Suman leaves.

Sanjana is sitting on her suitcase to shut it and asks sahil to help her. Sahil says sure and he is happy she is leaving the house. Sanjana clarifies that she isn't leaving the house but packing for the honeymoon. Sahil agrees to go if sanjana massages his legs and feet. Suman comes to SumVeer's room wondering who has pressurised ranveer to separate himself as well as suman from veer. Ranveer is on the phone and excitedly tells suman their honeymoon date is finalised for next week. Suman thinks that honeymoon is the best way to sort out the differences between the two of them. Just then veer comes and asks for her help to study for maths as he has an exam next week. Suman tells him to get his books ready and she is coming, she then requests ranveer to postpone their honeymoon but ranveer refuses. 

Manan-Antara share cute/romantic moment where antara says she'll take a religious book with them but manan teases her that maybe they won't find time to pray on their honeymoon. Suman is cooking in the kitchen and veer is sat there revising - antara comes and asks why she's worried, suman says veer has his exams next week and if she leaves how will he study. Sanjana comes and complains that if she cancels her honeymoon then automatically hers and antara's honeymoon will be cancelled too. In frustration, sanjana says a honeymoon opportunity only comes once in your life as you only marry once. She then realises her mistake and apologises and tries explaining that if suman cancels the honeymoon the family will think there is some issue between SumVeer.

In the hall, the entire family except the men are present and talking about the 3 couples' honeymoon. Antara informs the family that suman doesn't wish to go on a honeymoon, just as suman is about to explain her reason, ranveer steps in and says that she's angry with him as he didn't buy the dress she wanted. He apologises and promises to take her shopping tomorrow. Everyone laughs and nupur asks suman to forgive ranveer and go for the honeymoon. Dadisa says that as ranveer upset suman, his punishment is that he has to feed suman food. At the table, everyone looks on as sumveer feed one another. Ranveer bites suman's finger and apologises. Suman says its ok. 

Sanjana decides to sort out the differences between sahil and herself by asking sahil to feed her food too. But sahil refuses and eats his food alone. 

In SumVeer's room, ranveer asks suman to say thanks to him for saving her. Suman says that he saved himself and not her, as had she revealed that veer has exams next week, the family would have postponed the honeymoon themselves. Ranveer tells suman that the honeymoon date will not be postponed and besides this family and veer, she has another responsibility - and that is him. He states that suman is forgetting two people have a right over her (veer and ranveer) and she is simply living her old life despite being married to him. Suman explains that relationships are not all about who has a right over whom but about who is willing to sacrifice for others. She questions why he can't understand that she is veer's mother as well as ranveer's wife and that both of them are equally important to her. Ranveer says he isn't interested in such talks and makes it clear that if she postpones or cancels the honeymoon then he won't live with her. And that if she still wants to be with her son, then she can pack her belongings as well as veer's and leave the house.

Suman tells ranveer how hurt she is whenever he tells her to leave him. Ranveer says he has given her two choices and leaves the room. Nupur who was passing by has overheard their fight and informs dadisa, suhasini and devraj and suggests that they should send sumveer to mandir for puja, hoping the journey and puja will help them solve their issues. 

Ranveer is working near the pool side - suman brings coffee and as its windy, ranveer's important papers fall from the table, near the pool and as suman tries to collect them, she trips and falls into the pool. Ranveer jumps in to rescue her and helps her recover from her unconscious state and removes water from her system. He hugs her with teary eyes clearly shaken and worried at the thought of losing her forever. He tells her off and suman smiles as she realises that ranveer does truly love her and all the hatred and taunts are fake. Suman reminds ranveer that he wants her to leave him then why is he concerned, ranveer realises and then says he doesn't want to see her hurt because it will mean their honeymoon will be cancelled.

SumVeer come inside the house and the elders inform them of the puja they have to do together at a mandir. In SumVeer's room, suman is taking out ranveer's outfit for tomorrow - they share an eye lock before ranveer tells her that she's so excited to go on a trip to the mandir but not the slightest bit excited to go on their honeymoon. 

Next morning, suman is cooking in kitchen when veer comes crying to her, followed closely by kalawati who informs suman that sindoora slapped veer. Suman goes to question sindoora who tells her off for questioning her rather than teaching her kid some discipline. Kalawati tries to overhear the conversation but sindoora tells her off and she leaves. Suman decides to go after kalawati but sindoora stops her and warns her not to do any job for kalawati. Suman politely turns down her order, informing her that kalawati is like her mother and she has some responsibilities towards her. Sindoora is miffed and says bad things to suman - ranveer comes and sends suman away. He then rebukes sindoora for her actions and behaviour, telling her clearly that suman is his wife and the daughter in law of this house, hence has every right to be in this house as much as she does. Antara overhears the conversation and is happy to see ranveer side suman. 

Suman approaches the car with sanjana, nupur and antara - antara tries to tell suman about ranveer-sindoora's conversation but nupur tells her to speak later as sumveer are getting late for the puja. SumVeer leave and sindoora informs someone about their departure and asks him to bring the most poisonous snake. 

SumVeer reach mandir, and suman prays for the differences between her and ranveer to be sorted soon. The pandit informs everyone that the puja will begin at 1pm and till then they can enjoy the mela. Suman overhears Anurag-ragini's bittersweet fight and asks ragini why she fights with her husband who clearly loves her. Ragini in return questions why suman is with her husband who clearly doesn't love her. Suman says she is bound to him via marriage. Ragini tells her there is a difference between being bound to someone in a relationship and feeling imprisoned in a relationship and suman should remember this.

SumVeer head down the mandir steps to attend the mela when a man bumps into suman and slyly places a poisonous snake in her handbag. At the mela, sumveer stop at a bangle stall and suman selects some bangles which ranveer pays for. 

At mittal sadan, kalawati is roaming around the kitchen enjoying her food and wonders why sumveer wasted a journey to the mandir when they could have done sindoora's puja as she is no less than a naagin. Kalawati goes looking for sindoora when nupur informs her that sindoora has gone to meet a friend but kalawati is certain she's gone to ruin sumveer's puja.

In mandir, the snake somehow climbs onto ranveer's shoulder and everyone panics - ranveer is about to remove it but suman stops him and prays to protect her husband, the snake leaves. Prior to starting the puja, goons attack both sumveer and the 2 couples in agniphera. Ragini, Anurag and ranveer fight the goons and ranveer saves a goon from attacking ragini. Meanwhile, sindoora dressed as a saint tries to attack suman from behind but vishu saves her. Suman tries to see her face but she flees from there. Later, sumveer perform puja along with the other couples there. 

precap : Antara informs suman about ranveer fighting with sindoora for suman. Suman is surprised and at night tries to question ranveer but veer comes and says he wants to sleep with her. Ranveer leaves, suman puts veer to sleep and decides to find out why ranveer fought with sindoora for her.
