Hola I am back with another OS on ViTharv! Its my take on what could have been shown post Vividha's divorce and her struggle to prove her love and Atharv's fight with his internal demons. It was almost a week after their last conversation and Vividha's accident.
ViTharv OS- The Patch Up!
Atharv walked in his room, to see Vividha trying to change in her night clothes. He averted his gaze when their eyes met in the shiny piece of metal in front of her, he had been seeing her daily, yet he had been so close to her in ages.
Atharv: "Aap yahan?... he asked all confused?
Vividha: "Aisa kyun kar rahe ho tum? Jab mujhe tumhaari sabse jyaada zaroorat thi...tum the hi nai...
Atharv: "Aisa nahi hai...main hamesha aapke saath hoon...
Vividha: "To mujhe milne hospital kyun nahi aaye? she asked pain evident in her voice.
Atharv: "Main aaya tha...
Vividha: "Wo to main bhi jaanti hoon...par kabhi room main nai aaye...tumhe aaj bhi mehsoos kar sakti hoon...
Atharv was taken aback when she hugged him tight. That's when she cried, she cried. She vented her anger, her anguish and her angst. She finally found the solace she was looking for so many days, she found the peace.
Vividha: "Jab tum wapas aaye, main tumhe gale lagana chahti thi, tumhe mehsoos karna chahti thi, tumhe kiss karna chahti thi...par aisa tumne hone nahi diya...mere pyaar pe shaq jo kiya...
Atharv: "Aap ko chot pahunchayi na...mujhe laga aap gussa hai mujhse..isiliye kabhi aaya nai aapse milne...aapne waqt maanga tha...
Vividha: "Gussa to aaj bhi hoon...lekin jab hospital main thi...tab laga hamare paas waqt kitna bacha hai...nahi reh sakti tumhaare bina...
Atharv: "Aap sawarna chahti thi...khud ko dhoondna chahti thina...
Vividha: "Haan, aaj bhi khudko dhoondh rahi hoon, sawar rahi hoon...lekin ye sab tumhaare saath kyun nai...hamara pyaar shayad itna kamzor nahi hai Atharv...
Atharv: "I understand...
Vividha: "Kuch nahi samjhte tum...samajhte to mera khyaal rakhte, mujhe pamper karte...mere liye khaana banate...
All Atharv could do was take her in his arms. He gently kissed her hair.
Vividha: "Aaj se main yahinn rehne waali hoon...live in relationship...
Atharv panicked and disentangled himself from the hug.
Atharv: "Kya kaha aapne? Live in...aur maa?
Vividha: "Chachi se permission le li maine...waise bhi ab ye karma wapas se mera hone wala hai...to maine socha ab yahin reh leti hoon...
Atharv: "Aur maa maan gayi?
Vividha: "Infact chachi ne suggest kiya...tumhe meri care karne main asaani hogi...
Atharv twirled her in a single move and pulled her close, he entwined their fingers.
Atharv: "Aap sach main yahan rahengi...mere saath...
Vividha: "Haan re baba...kitni baar bolu...par agli baar mere pyaar pe shaq kiya to maaf nahi karoongi...tumhe bina bataye chali jaaoongi...
Atharv: "Vividha... he said tears trickling down his cheeks.
Vividha turned around. She slowly took his entire being, his eyes were red and brimming, his body was shivering, and he was hurt beyond words. The incident had deeply impacted him.
Vividha: "Kuch to bolo Atharv...
Atharv: "Main aana chahta tha aapse milne...lekin himmat hi nai kar paya...aapko aise waha hospital main dekh kar...aapko khote khote reh chuka tha...upar se aap mujhse gussa thi...meri galti thi...main aapse bahut gussa tha...lekin mera sabse bada dar sach ho gaya tha...aap kisi aur ki...
That's when he verbally said all the hurt he was going through, how much his dreams were shattered, how much he hated the fact that the family he loathed, had taken care of him. She engulfed him. He was resistant at first but slowly relaxed. He caved in and hugged her tight; he finally shed those tears he had held back from many nights. He finally felt relived, relived that she was here and he didn't have to be strong in front of her. He could peacefully cry, and she would take care of him.
Atharv: "Kehte ki ladke rote nahi hai...but I have no qualms crying in front of you...
Vividha: "Bas karo...
Atharv: "Nahi reh sakta aapke bina...
Vividha: "Atharv...hum dono ne bahut kuch khoya hai...ek doosre ko nahi kho sakte...kya hum dono sab kuch bhool kar ek nayi shuruat nai kar sakte? A fresh beginning...
Atharv nodded in positive. He gently pecked her forehead.
Vividha: "Chalo jao aur chai banake lao...mujhe tumse bahut baatein karni hai...
Atharv handed her the cup of tea, as both of them sat reminiscing their earlier days, their random memories and their love. It was past midnight, when they fell asleep in the balcony itself, which was a witness to their love realisation, their random flirts and their beautiful love moments.
As Sujata walked into to wake them up, her heart didn't want to wake them up. After many days, did she see her children sleep with the happiness and content on their faces.
