it's enough now yesterday was fst day of sawan month it was monday day of Lord shiva and they killed amarmath pilgrims...I literally cried yesterday...
forget about heart they are mindless too ..can someone plzz ask them...what theyou want ,????

kashmir???

70 yrs of independence and they hv done nothing worth I will again repeat this if they got kashmir na they are gonna make it lashkar hub and nothing else ...bunch of monsters

Gorkhaland separate state means there will be Bodoland then there Manipur and Tripura tribes who want separate states.with this every tribe in NE will want new state. Saurastra and Vidharbha region also want new state. UP shud be bifurcated becoz it is too big and have too much power. Separate state is very different matter from all these issues.

as @pemb said it's bcoz of mamta and the government's negligence..and everybody knows what's happening in Bengal I don't want to get deep into this ..even media is not showing anything...so it would be better if they get der land coz they have been fighting and suffering from years...and west Bengal earns a lot through Darjeeling and gorkhas yet they don't even get basic needs ..

I agree with padfoot after gorkhaland many other tribes will demand states . This is gonna weaken the China border. WB government seriously have to be fair to North Bengal and put revenue n help n concentration there. It's a totally different topic and needs to be handled very sensitively.Darjeeling is a very important part of Bengal. The tourist hub. They deserve a lot of help n developments than they get.

I don't think situation is as bad in WB as some try to portray though, like there was one incident where a school was prohibited from celebrating saraswati puja in a Muslim area, but then in many posts in quora I saw people saying celebrating pujas has been banned in whole w.b.Some just try to encash n increase the controversy. Bengal was pretty progressive n peaceful once, people concentrated more on education n culture than religion n caste n riots.I hope somehow we can go back to that. The govt here is incompetent but so is the other majority opposition party here.People have no good candidate to vote for Tbh isse Acha u give nota.

Amarnath Yatra terror attack: Bus driver Salim, who drove through firing, says Allah gave me strength

Saleem's family in Gujarat is also proud of the exemplary courage shown by him in testing times. His cousin Javed told ANI that Saleem called him up around 9.30 PM informing the family about the indiscriminate firing on the bus. "He couldn't save seven lives, but managed to move 50 people to a safe place. We are proud of him," Javed added.

The terror attack on the bus carrying Amarnath pilgrims on Monday evening would have resulted in loss of more innocent lives had it not been for the exemplary courage shown by Salim Mirza, the driver of the bus, who drove the yatris to safety amid indiscriminate firing of bullets by militants. The attack on the bus with 56 passengers aboard left seven dead and over 30 injured.

Realising that halting the bus will have dangerous consequences, Salim drove for nearly two kilometres on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway before he reached an army camp. "It was about 8 pm when the bus was surrounded by terrorists. They first fired from the front with the intention to eliminate the driver. I ducked sideways to escape the bullets and drove ahead. I do not know how I got the strength to go on at that time. Maybe Allah helped me and gave me strength, Salim told The Indian Express as he stepped out of an IAF plane that brought the deceased as well as those injured in the attack to Surat, Gujarat, Tuesday afternoon. Salim, who also belongs to Gujarat, said he escaped unharmed in the incident while another passenger seated beside him was injured.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, too, lauded Salim and said he would recommend his name for a bravery award.

Munir Khan, IG, Kashmir was quoted as saying by One India: "I spoke to the passengers and they were all praise for the driver. He drove despite the firing and took them to safety. It made a lot of difference and many lives were saved. He did not stop. Had he stopped, more lives could have been lost.

Salim's family in Gujarat said they were proud of him. His cousin, Javed, told ANI that Salim called him around 9.30 pm informing the family about the firing on the bus. "He couldn't save seven lives but managed to move 50 people to a safe place. We are proud of him, Javed added.

The bus bearing the registration number of Gujarat was on its way from Baltal to Jammu when the militants opened fire. According to officials, the bus was not a part of the yatra envoy and hence was not provided security cover. IG Muneer Khan said the attack was carried out by Lashkar-e-Toiba militants.

Security has been beefed up along all routes in Anantnag. A high-level meeting was also called by the Centre to take stock of the situation. The centre has also appealed the pilgrims to follow safety protocols and cooperate with the authorities.

Such a barbaric incident. Should be condemned by everyone! No one has the right to take up the lives of innocent souls. Dont know whats going on in this world. There was a blast in the morning in Pakistan yesterday. This proxy war should end from both sides and innocent civilians are losing their lives.

May their souls rest in peace and condolences to the families who wont be able to see their loved ones again!

My deep respect to the driver, who saved the lives of his passengers. But the way media handles the news before knowing the religion and after knowing the religion of the driver is amusing.
-----------------

From the news before. ( https://kashmirobserver.net/2017/localnews/7-yatris-killed-anantnag-shootout-20286 )

".. It was the "irresponsible act of the bus driver and its passengers that exposed the Amarnath pilgrims to the terror attack, PTI reported quoting top security officials.

The officials said the bus was neither registered with the Amarnath Shrine Board nor had it adhered to the security detail which is compulsory for the pilgrims in view of the terror threat.

Giving details on the basis of preliminary inquiries, the officials told PTI that the people on board the bus bearing the Gujarat registration number GJ09Z 9976 had completed the yatra two days back and were in Srinagar since then, deviating from the Amarnath yatra route which goes to Jammu.
Also, despite the sensitive security situation prevailing in Kashmir, the bus was on its way to Jammu at night, which is not permissible as it exposes the vehicles to terror attacks, they said..."

"... The statement (National Conference) further that said a terrorist has no religion; a terrorist is a terrorist and must be treated as a terrorist. .."

-----------------------

Now that the driver happens to be Muslim, headlines in media changes.
Terrorists clearly aimed at a vehicle from Gujarat (just like Godhra). Still they have no religion. But the driver has. Was re wah secularism.
In this PC mess created by media, there are common people like Salim, who just do their job, pray to their god, without bothering what secularism is. It is because of such people, India is what it is.

jab tak desh me Saleem jaise insaan hai tab tak terrorists desh ke tukde nahi kar payenge... 😊

I'm so thankful and proud of him that he saved so many lives with his courage... he told that the people in the bus were asking him to stop the bus but he knew that if he stopped then the situation would be worse... so he kept on driving and managed to save so many lives... kudos to him...and God bless him and his family 😊
